FÆNCY FRIES — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

Good but UNFAIR staff. Bon mais serveur injuste. My wife and I came at this place twice. One time last year (2019), and one time in september 2020. French fries were always good, as good as fries made along belgian double cooked process. Howerer staff were nonchalant each time we came and VERY UNFAIR last time. Last time we ordered 2 big portions of french fries and the staff used intentionally a cornet (small portion size) to measure quantity of potatoes to put in the box (the box that is usually used for measuring big portion). It means both of us had a small portion of fries while we ordered big portion. And it was not a mistake from the staff : the girl who served us did it for both of us, and I testify she did not put 2 cornet measures in our box. Each time she measured 1 cornet of fries for each box. As I don't know this place very well, I did not react because I didn't get that we were abused. Then we ate our fries inside the place and noticed that this girl did not used the cornet while other customers ordered big portion, which is a proof we were deliberately abused. I don't recommend this place because staff don't act as professionnal. We won't come back in this place even if we are french fries lovers.

Les frites sont bonnes, comme les fameuses frites du ch'nord (les fameuses frites belges double cuisson). Malheureusement, les personnes qui tiennent la boutique sont désagréables et surtout INJUSTES. Lorsque nous sommes venus pour la deuxième (et dernière) fois, nous avons commandé 2 grosses portions de frites, et la serveuse a délibérément utilisé le cornet qui matérialise la petite portion de frites pour ensuite la renverser dans la boite en carton qui matérialise la grosse portion de frites. En commandant une grosse portion, nous avons donc eu une petite portion. Ce n'était pas une erreur de sa part puisqu'elle a réitéré ce procédé pour ma femme et moi, et qu'elle n'a pas utilisé ce procédé pour les clients...

Good French fries with tasty sauces styled into few different dishes that you can choose from. Or you can build your own French fry dish, starting with portions size, deciding on the sauce, topping, add-ons, etc. I recommend to try fries with pulled pork or beef and with extra cheddar inside. That one was quite juicy. The place doesn't look bad, but it's also not a place that convinces you to stay and have your fries on spot. You will most probably prefer to take your order...

Co se tyce obsluhy, neodpustim si komentar, na ktere veci by se do budoucna meli zamerit:

1. kdyz mam spoustu nevyrizenych objednavek (8 a vic), tak se staram o to, abych mel/mela i plnou misu nasmazenych hranolek, protoze ty jsou to zakladni a jedinou surovinou v tomto obchode, ktera se vydava.

2. kdyz mne po chvili vedle pokladny lezi uz 10 a vice kornoutu, dalsi lidi stoji frontu a objednavaji si a ja NEMAM hranolky v mise, ze ktere je vydavam, tak smazim o 106 dalsi porce (ne v jednom fritaku, ale minimalne ve dvou + rezerva) .. a dokud hranolky nebublaji v oleji, tak proste NEDOPLNUJI dipy/omacky a nenecham ostatni cekat 😐 Dipy muzu doplnovat kdykoliv behem X-minut, kdy se hranolky povaluji ve fritaku.

3. usmev patri k vasi praci, ale verim, ze jakmile si obsluha vice osaha fritak, tak by se situace mohla zlepsit

Obsluha na me pusobila chaotickym dojdem (jako by meli prvni den otevreno) coz se odrazilo na tom, ze clovek se dost nacekal (na to ze zakladem je jedna surovina),.. ale hranolky samy o sobe byly nakonec vyborny (jen dipu bylo na muj vkus/velky hranolky .. malo), i tak, myslim, ze toto misto ma potencial, pokud obsluha do budoucna dokaze lepe cist situaci a usmat se na zakaznika.. at si clovek neprida, jak v CR - otevreli si obchod a voni jim tam...
