Went there today at around 10:45am. I had my 1,5 year old kid with me and although I read at the door that “kids are allowed but under parent supervision” I thought to enter alone and ask first just to be polite.
I opened the door and didn’t want to enter and make the place dirty (it was raining outside) so I talked from the entrance “hi, good morning. Are 1 year old kids allowed?” The boss lady replied that couldn’t hear me very rudely. I asked again to which point she asked me again rudely to come closer. I went at the bar. I was polite and with smile I asked can I have my 1 year old kid here? She replied very aggressively “no we have cats here you cannot bring your 1 old cat here” I said KID! My 1 year old kid. She again extremely aggressively replied “yeah you can but should supervise it (thanks, Captain obvious). I left and never going there again. Reading other reviews here about complaints for the same lady it’s a miracle this place has any customers. (Or doesn’t. Today it was empty) poor cats that’s all I have to say.
Ps1. I read the owners reply to some other review that yelling upsets the cats which is understandable but she can always explain it to me politely and not being a rude grandma.
Ps2. There’s way better cat cafes in Brno with amazingly polite staff. Don’t waste your time...

One thing that ruined the mood a little bit were the kids. The staffs enforcement of the rules is lacking. Children, some of which were clearly sick (spreading snot everywhere), were climbing on the valuable antique furniture, banging on the beautiful but frail armchairs, literally kidnapping cats, throwing them around and screaming in their ears. The moms were having an intimate active listening moment or whatever at the table, completely ignorant of their ill-mannered brats terrorizing everyone and everything. Other moms and staff occasionally gently scolded the children, but didn't address the root of the problem.
I REALLY suggest better enforcement of the rules by the staff or, alternatively, completely banning children from the...
Read moreThis was a unique experience I'm glad I had. If you're in the centre of Brno and love cats as much as I do, you definitely should visit here. The options they provide with food and drinks are quite nice too and the price isn't too high (for a café in the middle of the city).
The cats here are, first and foremost, pretty darn cute and lovable, almost all of them having their backstories and art. Some are friendlier than others though, I personally liked Terezka, Vladěnka, Oldřich and Kira the most though.
As for the atmosphere, it would be pretty nice here without all the (annoying) small children running around and ruining everyone's moods (the cats' moods especially) but I get that a customer is a customer after all. I do however suggest going on less busy hours than now around Christmas, it's so packed you'll be happy if you...
