Seriously - the best burgers we ever had.

I had a vegetarian option (so not exactly a burger - sorry fellow veggies, it is what it is, stop stealing food names) and it blew my mind - onions wrapped in warm gouda cheese was a base of the taste, while other ingredients matched perfectly. It was just the right amount of spicy and salty. My partner's burger was actually a burger, meaty and juicy. She and I sat there and enjoyed every bite without talking - it was shocking. Just nodded a few times and said mmmm a couple of times more. Never been so quiet in a burger joint before. If Americans think they're the only ones who know how to bacon-up stuff they're dead wrong cause this chef has some serious bacon matchmaking skills.

The potatoes are literally the best home made taters I tried outside our home (that kinda defeats the meaning behind "home made", I know, but the TASTE was IT). They were just like the ones your grandma used to make in the oven, covered with spices and garlic. Everything well balanced, tasty, with a really nice dipping sauce.

These were gourmet burgers'n'taters right there.

Beer? It was full and creamy, with 12% of alcohol in it. Needless to say that beer in Pilsen is great, but this one was a blast.

Staff super nice and friendly - we think this is SO good because of their effort and love, these two women's vibe was amazing.

Music was cool, prices totally worth it. Interior is a bit roughed up - it was actually refreshing to sit in a not too trendied-up super slick burger joint.

If this was a franchise, it would be worth godzillions.

Last year I posted a review about a burger place in Ljubljana that simply said 'The best burger'. I may have been wrong! Brunette Burger is stunning. Over a 4 day stay in Plzen for Metalfest, we went here twice as it was so good. I had a Mr Mushroom and a Mr Egg, both burgers were succulent and juicy, cooked perfectly. The fillings were generous and the garlic potatoes with pepper mayo were a point of difference from fries and were lovely. My wife had the Jalapeno burger each time as it was so good. Beer was also a cut above the usual choice and the service was perfect and friendly. Cannot rate this place enough. Hopefully be able to visit...

So cosy place! It is really tiny inside, but comfortable. I had a small burger with jalapeno which was not so hot as I like, but still tasty. I was full despite the burger was small. I was wonder that they have no classic french fries, but have short fries potato pieces, that was unusual but not bad at all.
