Plzeňka Plzeň — Restaurant in okres Plzeň-město

Few first visits wasn't perfect. Some were even under the average. After some while they seems to find the way and improve on all levels.

Especially the lunch menu improved. It's a decent meal for reasonable price - I still find Lékárna a bit better. Some food may be boring, but most of it worth the price. The soup is really big, on other hand some meals have little bit less meat than I would expect.

The beer is perfect. I always have nice fresh beer with long lasting foam head. Nothing to complain here!

The interior is beautiful. The glass bar is stunning. Other glass details including the big Pilsner Urquell logo are also nice. The sandy brown walls may be a bit sad but I like the combination. It a bit reminds me the cellars in brewery. Glass, sand, wood... I like it.

Overall it worth the visit but it's not that great as I was looking forward. Beautiful interior and good beer but the rest is just normal average experience without anything special... In other words - not my first choice...

Before continuing my journey home, I decided to eat at this restaurant. It immediately invited me in with its cosy, bustling atmosphere filled with fellow guests enjoying their meals and conversations. I stepped in with full conviction and initially wanted to sit outside, but a kind waitress advised me to sit inside as it could get very wet due to the rain. So, I did. I took a seat inside and started with a delicious soup, followed by a scrumptious schnitzel. Enjoying my beer, I could also watch the Euro Cup football match that my country won to advance to the next round. I appreciated being able to relax and take my time. Absolutely...

HORRIBLE service! They have realised they forgot our orders after almost an hour, and instead of an apology they wanted to get paid for a beer and a glass of water. Too bad that I have to say goodbye to this place since I’ve always liked the food. What irritates me is when people have no respect for someone’s else’s time thinking that they have all day to sit and wait for them so a simple apology would’ve made it alright but I guess they were not capable of such a simple...
