Bar Kobka 8 — Restaurant in Prague

Comparing to the neighboring bars I think it was one of the worst :( when we sat at the table yesterday it took quite a long time for them to clean it, the dirty ashtray was there till the end. When they finally seen me giving the sign to come, the question was what we want to drink without showing us a menu. When I asked for one it took a half of the glass of my friends beer (which she didn’t like btw but it’s another story) before they took my order and I got it… lemonade I’ve ordered was nothing I’d drink even for free so honestly I don’t have a wish to come back there again. Maybe it’s me and for people loving that special beer it’s right place...

I organised my birthday here and had more than 20 join. I had to pay a deposit for such large number of people and the communication to do everything was smooth.

Unfortunately, it rained on the day but the owner and the staff were very accommodating and set everything up nicely for me.

The person looking after us was Honza and he was amazing taking cafe of us all by himself. My friends found Honza nice and approachable. On the night, we ordered KFC.

Overall, I was very happy with the venue...

Navštívili jsme Bar Kobka 8 s novými kolegy s očekáváním příjemného večera, ale bohužel zážitek nedopadl podle představ. Musím ocenit pěknou lokaci a pivo Únětice, které bylo opravdu chutné. Škoda jen, že kvůli extrémně pomalé obsluze jsem za dobu, kdy bych běžně zvládl 5–8 kousků, stihl sotva 4.

Obsluha působila nezkušeně – slečna vypadala, že je na směně snad poprvé. Vzhledem k velmi dlouhému čekání jsme si začali rovnou objednávat "do zásoby", protože další kontakt s obsluhou byl spíš výjimečnou událostí než standardem.

Zarážející bylo i to, že personál sice chodil s terminálem po zahrádce a kasíroval jiné stoly, ale v našem případě jsme museli jít platit dovnitř. A to navíc po tom, co jsme zjistili, že nám byla naúčtována položka navíc – naštěstí jsme ji nemuseli hradit, ale i tak to nepůsobí dobře.

Celkově to byla návštěva s potenciálem, který ale zůstal nevyužitý. Věřím, že podnik může fungovat lépe, pokud se zlepší organizace a proškolení obsluhy. Místo má své kouzlo, ale zatím zůstává...
