CAMP - Centrum architektury a městského plánování — Restaurant in Prague

Great concept of making another of the buildings in the centre accessible to the general public. The place was completely reconstructed and is filled to brim with interesting design/architecture solutions. The whole institution works as a connecting point between the city and the public to discuss Prague's further development. Very often you can find an interesting lecture in the auditorium (both in English and in Czech), you can spend your time in a small library over the local book/magazine collection (or just using the local wifi) or view the ever-changing local exhibitions. Exciting place for big & small

It is always great to learn about the ongoing topics and trends in urban design and architecture. The exhibitions are interesting for children (we visit CAMP since my daughter was 2.5) as well as for adults, but we really appreciate the great selection of design books and LEGO pieces to build with.

The staff speaks perfect English, they are keen to provide us more information and patient with children. We always go home with the feeling that we could have spent more time here. And the entrance is for free!

Was here to see the famous czech brutalist legacy. Had encounters with 2 of your female staff at different entrance lobbies and felt like interacting with angry gorillas in zoos. They don't speak and understand english at all. Whenever they see strangers who simply want to ask questions, they will frown, mumble and shoo you away with barbaric body language/gestures.
