Amazing stay. I really liked both the hotel, service, interior, food and really cool they are 100% powered by renewables. I had two different rooms for my stay (two reservations). One room was at floor 6 (belive top floor?) and one room at floor 1. All pictures from the rooms are from floor 6 which also had a roof terrance.
When checking i got a free drink at the hotel bar, discount for a beverage at a nearby tapas resturant + some candy. When I checked out i also received som candy. Tasty caramel candy👍
Room: relatively tiny with not much free floor space, but with one suitcase there was not any problem. Possible if you have more than 3 suitcases it might be slightly full(?).
Bed was very good. Bathroom was of good size. Large shower. Some nice toilet amenities for shaving, tooth brush etc (only on floor 6) Really appriciated the two daily complimentary water bottles (still and sparkling) in the hotel room (both rooms).
Roof terrance was quite cool with these mushroom looking lights and all the planta. There was a table with two chairs and a beach chair. There was a decent view from here👍 For the other room floor 1 there was no terrance.
The minibar was well equipped with soda, beer, wine chocolate and chips.
A lot of hotel information could be found attached on the cork board in the room. Info about rhe hotel, spa, gym etc. Soundbox for music was also avilable in both rooms.
Breakfast: There was a discount if arrived early for breakfast. Not sure how long time the discount is available though. The food selections was really really good. For me as a breakfast person this was right up my ally with a lot of hot and cold disches. Scramble eggs was really good, but there was a lot of the regular selections same as for many countries, but there was also a lot of what i would guess is more local disches. Service here is also really good. They follow up quickly with cleaning finished plates etc and keeping everything on point!
Hotel bar and secret garden: The hotel bar was really nice and stylish area with two floors. Second floor was for guest only. The hotel bar had a good selection of drinks and served also food. On tap they have the really good lager from micro brewery Únětický pivovar. I was in the secret garden (located next door to the hotel bar) one morning drinking the morning coffee. Cozy place when the weather is nice. A few tabels, a lot of planta and a fish pond.
Travel by taxi from/to Airport - Hotel will cost about 400-550 czk.
There is a train station 1 min walk from hotel. But there is easy to walk around from this hotel.
I would say this hotel gives you high value for the cost of staying. The hotel is very modern, clean and the service is good. I would highly...
Read moreWe booked a last minute break on a Bed & Breakfast basis for 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel was quite central and approx 15 mins walk to the centre of Prague. It's very close to its sister hotel for use of the gym.
Directions to reach the hotel using the Prague Airport Bus (Trolley Bus 59) and then the Metro were clear and straightforward. Metro tickets purchased at the airport ticket machines (can choose your language) for 90 mins which covered the bus and metro transport systems. Once we arrived at the final metro stop the hotel was 5 mins walk away.
Check-in was straight forward and we arrived late at night. Didn't realise most food places close at 10.30pm and we were very hungry.
The room was a twin room and had a safe, TV, complimentary bottles of water, tea/coffee station, aircon, a small storage area for clothing. Shower room was a high standard. The room was light and airy. It was very quiet. We were on the 4th floor. We were given complimentary drinks vouchers to use in cafe mosaic.
The cafe mosaic area was nice and relaxed in the day and evening. An upstairs library was great for quiet study and the seating areas upstairs was nicely put together. An outside secret garden (courtyard) was a nice touch. In the evening the bar area had softer lighting and a relaxing vibe.
Breakfast service at the hotel was excellent with a variety of eggs, vegetarian options, sausages, beans, bread, vegetables, cold meats, cheese and pastries. Tea and coffee available along with lemon water. We never had to wait long at all.
We used the spa to get deep tissue massages from Adela. She was an excellent therapist and always asking if the massage pressure was okay.
The hotel was approx 15 mins walk to the Astronomical Clock and approx 10 mins walk to the Prague Dancing House.
Outside the hotel were statues of a man and a woman with umbrellas. Lots of tourists taking selfish here.
The restaurant at the hotel was featured in the Michelin guide so we gave it a try opting for the chefs tasting menu. Separate review to follow. Hands down the best meal we've had in a very long time. The chef and his team are very talented. If you are a foodie you will love this place! Reserve a table.
On checking-out we were given a complimentary bag of fudge. Again another simple and nice touch.
Would highly recommend this hotel to travellers...
