Made a reservation weeks in advance, received confirmation. We showed up and they tell us it’s booked for a private event, no one tried to notify us so we’ve wasted a Friday evening on our holiday when reservations elsewhere are hard to get. Mistakes happen but the lax attitude and lack of resolution was unacceptable.

UPDATE: The bar manager gave us his number to make another reservation to make up for their mistake. Didn’t even respond. The bar then reached out to me about my review 24hrs later, again didn’t even bother to respond. I was happy to give them a 2nd and even 3rd chance but they’ve failed miserably. We’ve been travelling Europe and this is the worst service we’ve experienced, especially for a place in a “5 star” hotel.

UPDATE: After 36hrs they finally responded to our text saying they made us a reso, please come in and let them make it up. Against our better judgment we went. When we asked for food menus they tell us yet again the kitchen is booked for a private event, it’s only drinks. Stay away from this dumpster fire. Not worth going. Quite high prices with a bad service and average cocktails.

The cocktail presentation is made up of Temu-ordered decorations. The staff is not trained. We have made a reservation for the inside, but we asked the hostess if there would be space for us to move outside. Waited for 30 min. The tables outside “for reservations “ were empty. We approached a manager to ask to be seated in the lovely, sofa-style chairs. She looked at us twice and said she had seats, but not the ones we wanted. (Okay, for us, it doesn’t matter; we want a view and good service at least.) Then she seated us at the table in the very corner where there were no cushions on the chairs, just pure cold metal. We asked for them ourselves. Cocktails, we also moved ourselves. Ok. The shisha was nice, and the Shisha master was also very nice and attentive.

If you want a romantic dinner - choose another place on the rooftop. There are quite a lot in Prague with same high prices (for the view) but also good...
