I visited Asian Temple, as they had relatively high marks from several sources. Upon initial arrival the atmosphere was nice but that is about where the good stops. It took a bit to be greeted which is understandable if the host is seating others but 2 other staff members one walking by and one behind the bar did not say a word. Fine perhaps that’s normal. I was then informed by the hostess that brunch was being served and the tone made it seem as if I shouldn’t partake. I happily went for the brunch which is buffet style. The options are scarce and half of it was cold. The rice even worse. Dry, hard, inedible. The other dishes I could put down but I cannot say I enjoyed them one bit which is alarming as asian cuisine is one I enjoy in most formats. Also when the server finally greeted me I was poured a glass of water and he high tailed it out of there before I could even request a beverage of my choosing. Now I have sat here after having a sub par lunch for 50 minutes and the server has been everywhere but back to me even after several gestures to have him assist. Once I gained his attention to take away my plate he again was quick out of there before I could even request my check. Now I write this as I sit here he is setting tables and otherwise. I am generally a patient understanding individual but this is frankly the worst dining experience I have had. Perhaps it’s because I’m a tourist or some other odd reason but everyone else around me has been served and been given their check to leave. This meal cost 999czk (43 euro) which is absolutely inappropriate. I leave a two star review as the only saving grace is the location...

As a business owner myself I really dont like writing bad reviews but in this case I have to. For context, I have visited this business with my family members who came all the way from the US hoping to have a good time. We ordered soft drinks, a bottle, multiple shishas, cocktails and sushi plates and our overall bill was almost 20K. The issues:

  1. Employee accidentally spilled the soft drinks all over our table and belongings (which is not a problem at all because it can happen to anyone).
  2. While I understand the business closes at midnight, I dont understand why do the employees think it is polite to shut down the music exactly at midnight, turn on really bright lights and tell us that they are closing and implying that we should leave. If we would stay there way longer after closing time I would understand but they didnt even let us be there more than 20min after closing. As a business owner myself (and considering the facts of the spilled drinks, the bill around 20k and that we were willing to spend even more after our initial bill and we were not just sitting around and doing nothing) as a courtesy I would definitely keep these customers even after closing time and not tell them to leave.
  3. While paying the bill, the employee didnt even ask for a feedback on the service or a tip and just automatically put a 10% tip on the bill. This is rude and scammy behaviour.
  4. Having an exchange rate of 1 Euro = 21 CZK is ridiculous

Overall the experience could have been way better because the place is very cozy and nice but unfortunately it was...

Disappointed by service, for this price, they should do much better.

Arrived late in the evening but told that we had plenty of time to order and eat as kitchen closes at 23:30.

Ordered sushi which was pricey but very good quality. Also ordered butter chicken which was a disappointment, it was a good dish but nothing to do with actual butter chicken - wrong spices, chicken not marinated, and the “included” naan bread were three tiny triangles of cold and chewy flatbread.

Given small portion sizes, we decided that we’d like to order something more. But despite it only being 23:15, we were told kitchen was closed.

Service was fine, but at this price level should have been more attentive. Little things such as our food being delivered to the other table by accident (in an almost empty restaurant). Or the fact that when we asked for sparkling water and automatically given the most expensive bottle of Perrier.

Bill automatically includes a 10% Tip which is not standard for CZ.

Overall, not a bad experience but for the price we...

Atmosphere and presentation is what you’re paying for here. It’s a very chic, cosmopolitan type Asian vibe. Front have is a lounge area - plush couches, very much a club / party vibe. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the design. It’s very pretty place and they take the small details into account. They start you off with a wet towel for your hands. So if you’re going for the vibe, this is your place. In my opinion it was way overpriced for what it was. This was our most expensive meal in Prague. The presentation of the food was wonderful, I’ll give them that. But we prefer the economical no frills Vietnamese place across the street which was 1/3 the price for 2 full entrees, 2 beers and water. I also didn’t love how in giving the receipt, the waiter says “this is the price with the 10% tip, this is without tip. Do you want to tip?” It just feels a little forced and pushy, like if you want to only give 5-6%, it makes it awkward.

Went on new years. I booked for my boyfriend for Xmas, as a ticket was €150 a head. So not cheap, but with what it was meant to include quite a lot. Including boomcats, light/ fire display, burlesque show, tepinyaki, photo point and DJ. There was a good atmosphere but no photo point which was disappointing and it was also slightly underwhelming. It was good, but not what I expected for the amount paid. It was just less than what it was made out to be that’s all. But my boyfriend loved it. So that was good. Food was nice and so were drinks but unfortunately these were not included in the price. There was a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival which was nice and the staff were lovely. It was decorated lovely otherwise I can’t fault it. There was clearly a lot of effort put into the night as people were dressed up as Chinese dragons and geishas. The burlesque show was the best part!

my partner and I are addicted to Asian cuisine. This restaurant was indeed a pleasant discovery. We were the only customers in sports clothes after a day of walking around the city. It is a glam restaurant with glam people also exaggeratedly glam It's also a lively bar, serving modern Asian dishes in an elegant and luxurious setting. Featuring an upscale restaurant, a cocktail lounge with DJ, two gardens and several private dining rooms. A truly sought-after destination offering the finest dishes from China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Bali and India. The menu is rich. It offers a superlative selection of Asian dishes, served in the most elegant manner The menu offers a wide range of light meats and dim sum dishes, expertly prepared sushi, and fish and seafood that are always fresh. Get the pad thai we have bis. fabulous It is expensive but it worth it if you in Prague
