the servers were so very rude, they didn't even take everyone's order at the table. then they fought with everyone about a 10% tip and made us pay for an 8% reservation tip. for your information, we didn't have a reservation. then they acted all high and mighty and didn't even try to give back our change. so, service was really bad, they bad mouthed some of us as well. another thing is that service was really slow as well. we came as a group, and one of our tables couldn't even order their drinks. by the time we could order drinks, another table was nearly done with their food. the timing of it all was off, and again, they were so rude about it too. we said we hadn't ordered yet and they gave an attitude, then nearly forgot to take all of our orders in the first place! aside from that, the food is pretty good for the price, just the service is godawful and I'm not happy with them. BY THE WAY! I'm not sure if it was a language barrier but when ordering drinks, they claimed it was a strawberry lemonade. what we got was raspberry lemonade so I would recommend to always double-check your food/drinks before consuming it. We thought our dining experience was going well, until we asked for the bill. Then, one of the waitresses claimed they could only accept cash. This scam happens quite regularly these days, especially in Prague, the claim being that the signal is down or their machine isn't working. Well if that's true, we should have been informed as we entered. So what should tourists do when a restaurant plays this trick? Simply tell them that you have no cash on you, you chose their restaurant because they claim to accept card payments, and that if they were only able to take cash at this time, they should have made that clear before we sat down. Miraculously, they quickly managed to overcome the supposed technical issues and the credit card machine suddenly sprang to life. But if this wasn't bad enough, the bill they duly presented came to over 1,350 koruna, when it should have read just 795. The scam these waitresses play is to choose what they hope are some naive tourists, get them to pay cash, charge them double, hoping they are too thick or drunk to notice, and then pocket the difference between the correct and inflated amount. We arrived at 17:00. I went to the toilet and said to the employee behind the bar me and my friend wanted to eat outside. They nodded. When I returned to the table after going to the toilet, a male employee came and asked if we wanted to order. Because I had only just sat down a second ago, we said "not yet". He seemed a bit confused, but went away. We took a look at the menu, but 40 minutes or so later, the employee that first asked for our order hadn't come back yet. Mind you: we were the only ones in the restaurant for a long while. In the meantime we had some eye contact with employees through the window. Finally another female employee came and took our order. The pizza's were a bit cold, but overall had pretty good taste. It was quite windy outside, so that could have contributed too.
