The restaurant participated in “Prague mussel week”. We had 1+1 vouchers for mussels and decided to choose “Les Moules” for our dinner. Originally, the reservation was for 4 persons on Sunday but 2 friends wanted to join us, so we called the restaurant and asked to change the table. The hostess lady on a phone said that on Sunday they are full and agreed to transfer our reservation to Saturday, saying that there is still no table for 6 persons but “they will figure it out”.

The same lady, very rude casually dressed older women (which is already weird for a “luxury” restaurant hostess), met us at the entrance. She immediately started to say that they don’t have a place for 6 persons and that “you MUST be only 4”. We sat at the table for 4 persons asking just to bring us one more chair, but she kept saying that “they are full and they don’t have even 1 single chair in the restaurant”. While saying it, she was not even looking at us, like a waiter in a cheap bar. Check the attached photo to see how “full” they were in the reality. We asked to call the manager. She did it and added “Ok, but he will tell you the same”.

The manager was more polite and somehow found an additional chair in 5 minutes. The waiter was also really nice and professional.

We ordered 6 different tastes of mussels but could differ only 1 of them. They were good but pretty much the same.

Generally speaking, the restaurant doesn’t worth its money at all. It pretends to be luxury because of the location on Paris Street but neither the service nor the interior are luxury. Quiet a...

Unfortunately quite disappointing. I thought I'd treat myself on my last day in Prague. To sum up : Moules marinières were in an insipid broth, and had nothing to do with Moules marinières. Please tell your chef that marinières NEVER has carrots or tomatoes, it will make any French or Belgian person laugh. I am also not sure they were fresh, they just didn't taste of much. But the biggest issue was that I clearly felt like I was being ripped off. I was led to believe that fries were included (the waitress made it sound like it - but also for 19 euros it is fair to expect it to be included), and found it it was extra when I was brought the bill. So I got charged for fries I neither ate or ordered. Other nice surprise : I was charged 4 euros for tap water. To top it off, I was pressured to give a tip. Now, I am someone who as good as always tips. But exceptionally for the reasons above, my experience was just too bad to do so. And I absolutely hate being pressured to tip, especially since I did explain why I wasn't satisfied. So for me this place is just an outrageously expensive...

A terrible experience and extremely overpriced, poor food! My boyfriend and I wanted sea food (of which there isn't a lot in Prague) so we decided to eat here. The restaurant prides itself for having 'fresh mussels' everyday, but there is no way our mussels were fresh and tasted clearly defrosted. My mussels were supposed to come in a 'white wine and garlic sauce' and were covered in odd, peeled cucumbers and the 'wine sauce' was diluted. The mussels were dry and tasteless and our garlic bread that came with them was stale. The snails to start were just average. Not to mention the staff were very rude, my boyfriend and I tried to talk to several waiters and were ignored. It's obvious they know their food is bad and don't care about you or being there. In the end, I wasn't feeling well so we just paid the bill and left. £71 for a meal I could have done better myself and terrible service is outrageous. How this place has 4 star is beyond me. Don't advertise fresh mussels when...

Walking through Prague, I passed by a seafood restaurant. I glanced at the menu posted outside — the very first lines spoke to me of oysters, and of a tasting set: three oysters. I wasn’t hungry, but there’s always room for a set of three oysters, I thought. I decided I’d take it, paired with a glass of white wine. La belle vie. I sat down. The menu arrived. No oysters. The waitress came over. I told her I’d seen the oyster set on the menu at the entrance and would love to have it. She opened her eyes wide and informed me, “It’s not oyster season — they’ll be back in autumn.” I blinked sweetly, kept my smile, and ordered the octopus carpaccio instead — which turned out to be terribly bland. To make things worse, it was topped with some tough, unidentifiable plant (see photo). And now here I sit, wondering: do they deliver oysters to this restaurant by horse-drawn carriage from France? And how, then, did the octopus get here? Surely it didn’t come from the Vltava.

Went here first night in Prague. Small restaurant, servers all friendly, comfy atmosphere, bar all along one wall. It seemed more like a place for locals and popular. Could be wrong but we loved the food and service. Ordered mussels with sausage and fries and we were served a large pot with more than enough for 2 people. Fries were probably best fries I've ever had. They were thick and tasty, not skinny fries. So glad the two of us shared it because way too much for one person. It came with bread and I ordered a lovely glass of Chablis and my daughter-in-law ordered a beer. We also had a delicious fennel salad that we shared. I don't know about parking because we were on vacation and walking. The food was so good we wanted to eat here every night. We were only in Prague 3 nights, ate there 2 nights. Ate bread, cheese, salami, and fresh olives for dinner one night with a nice bottle of wine.
