I have mixed feelings about this place. Let’s start with the positives — the food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious: the eggplant with garlic, the fried khinkali, the pork shashlik, and the lamb shashlik. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully cooked, and I would honestly come back just for the food.

The atmosphere was also lively and fun. There was live music, people dancing, and an overall warm, energetic vibe. The decor is cozy and charming, and the servers were kind and welcoming.

However, the service time was a major downside. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and got our dishes at: Eggplant at 8:35, khinkali at 9:00, Lamb shashlik at 9:35, and Pork shashlik at 10:20. So, over two hours to get all the food. Even with a busy night, that’s a very long wait — it really took away from the experience.

We were also excited to see the traditional dance that happens on Saturdays — that was actually one of the reasons we booked for that day. Unfortunately, the performance was very short, and we could barely see it because as soon as it started, people left their tables and crowded around the dancers. It wasn’t managed well, which was disappointing.

In short: amazing food and great atmosphere, but the long wait times and poorly organized performance made it a mixed experience overall. I’d return for the food, but I really hope they improve how they handle...

Samefo!

🇬🇧 English Translation: 🌟 A True Georgian Celebration in the Heart of Prague! 🌟 If you think you’ve already tried good Georgian food — chances are, you haven’t been to Samefo yet!

We celebrated a birthday here and found not just a restaurant, but a living, breathing celebration of taste, rhythm, and heartfelt hospitality. A place where every corner is filled with Georgian soul, fragrant spices, and warm smiles.

🍆🥬 Let’s talk food — with passion! The Pkhali Assorti was a festival of flavors — vibrant, earthy, full of personality in every bite. The eggplant rolls with walnuts? Pure poetry — soft, aromatic, and like something out of grandma’s kitchen in Tbilisi. And the Kubdari, a meat-filled khachapuri, deserves its own standing ovation. Rich, juicy, perfectly spiced — pure culinary joy!

💃🎶 Music, dance, and soul in every moment! The evening featured live music and traditional Georgian dance, and it wasn’t just background entertainment — it was part of the magic. You’ll want to sing along, sway to the rhythm, and raise your glass again and again.

🧑‍🍳 Staff — simply wonderful! The service was warm and attentive, making us feel like honored guests. And the owner... Oh my! This young Georgian heartthrob with movie-star looks and the charm to match made everyone feel welcome. With a smile that melts khachapuri faster than butter, he personally ensures each guest is having an unforgettable time.

📍 Location — perfect. Right in the center of Prague, easy to find and impossible to forget. The interior is cozy, elegant, and tastefully Georgian.

💸 Lhe proces are a nice bonus! Very adequate and honest for this level of cuisine and service. There is a feeling that you are not "server" here, but treated from the heart.

🎉 Bottom line: Samefo is not just a dinner, it’s a Georgian fairy tale you’ll want to retell. We smiled the whole evening — from the first sip of wine to the last delicious dumpling.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended for anyone who wants to feel the real taste and spirit of Georgia — in the very...

Nestled in the heart of Prague, this Georgian restaurant is a hidden gem offering an authentic taste of Georgian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel as though you've been transported straight to Georgia. The menu is a delightful journey through traditional Georgian dishes, each prepared with meticulous care and authentic flavors. Standout dishes include the succulently spiced dumplings and the perfectly baked khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), both of which are must-tries for any visitor. The flavors are rich, bold, and beautifully balanced, showcasing the depth of Georgian culinary traditions.

The service here deserves special mention. Staff are not only attentive and efficient but also genuinely friendly, adding to the overall welcoming ambiance. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, ensuring that each guest's dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable.

Whether you're a lover of Georgian cuisine or a curious foodie looking to explore new culinary horizons, this restaurant in Prague offers an exquisite taste of Georgia's rich flavors and traditions. Coupled with its good service and cozy ambiance, it's a dining experience that leaves you...

The food was so so good! We had a kind of cheesy bread and a potato and veal type of casserole. They were delicious!

Never had this kind of experience in Prague. We ordered some chicken dishes, and Georgian bread. They brought the chicken but made us wait 30 more mins for the “Georgian bread”. The reason was “it’s cooking”. When we asked about it again, they actually brought us cheap store bought tortillas and tried to pass it off as Georgian bread. Since we’ve had Georgian food before, we asked them about it and they admitted they “ran out of ingredients” and this is the replacement. We were so frustrated that we just asked them to pack our food to leave. My friend had ordered water, they never brought it. It was still in the bill, and when we told them we never got it they tried to tell us we don’t remember it right and that they actually gave us the water. No apologies from the staff, they were just eager to get us to pay the bill. I like Georgian food but will never go back here again. Edit, in response to the restaurant’s message: As I mentioned in the review, we asked to pack up the food and leave. I took the photo when we got back home last night. I have attached the bill where you can see what we ordered and when. This is the same attitude that the staff had. No acknowledgment of their mistakes or apologies.
