Very disappointing visit. Our visit started with a 15 minute wait, which was no big deal. We were seated at the worst table possible. The small table for two is left of the main entrance and right in front of the counter. Which means you are never alone to enjoy the company of your fried. People are going there to pay, waiting to be seated so there is always someone standing over your head talking or bumping into your chair. And the worst is in the winter time when anyone opens the door you are hit with the cold breeze of air from outside and because not a lot of people learned how to close doors in their life you are constantly shivering from the cold. There is no proper waiting area in the venue. First we ordered coffee which we finished in 5 minutes however the empty cups were sitting on the table for the next 2 hours. My friend ordered an omelette with goat cheese and was disappointed there were huge chunks of cheese instead of mixed into the eggs. I ordered a pancake with goat cheese and it was the driest and tasteless thing ever. If I didn’t cut a piece with the goat cheese it was as if I were eating undefinable mass, no taste what so ever. Both of our foods had some lettuce on the side and it has definitely seen better days. It was overall dry and bits started to change colour to yellowish. After I finished my plate was left on the table for about 45 minutes. After all the great reviews was definitely not expecting such a bad experience. But nothing about this visit was good, the seating was bad, food was bad,...

I recently visited Marthy's Kitchen, a popular restaurant located in the city center, and I can't help but rave about my experience there. The great food and ambience make it a must-visit spot, and I'm thrilled to share my thoughts with you all.

The first thing that struck me about Marthy's Kitchen was the inviting atmosphere. The décor is modern and tasteful, creating a perfect setting for a casual meal or a special occasion. It's easy to see why this place is so popular among locals and tourists alike.

One of the highlights at Marthy's Kitchen is their breakfast menu. I've been here multiple times, and I've never been disappointed. The variety of options ensures that there's something for everyone, but my personal favorites are the chicken strips, omelette, and cream roll. The chicken strips are perfectly seasoned and crispy, while the omelette is fluffy and packed with flavor. As for the cream roll, it's simply divine - light, flaky pastry filled with velvety cream.

The staff at Marthy's Kitchen are genuinely friendly and attentive, making each visit a pleasure. They go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is enjoyable, and their warm smiles make you feel right at home.

I have been to Marthy's Kitchen many times, and I can't wait to go back. It's no wonder it's such a popular place in the city center. I strongly recommend a visit if you're in the area - whether it's for a quick bite, a leisurely brunch, or a special celebration, Marthy's Kitchen is sure to leave a...

The worst service I received it my whole life. Food is def not worth the price. I highly recommend any foodie to give it a wide berth.

We went there today for a brunch, we ordered avocado toast with horseradish, croque madame and croque monsieur.

Croque monsieur was fine, not a classic version but all good. Avocado toast is served with cold hard boiled egg so don’t be fooled by the pictures you see online - but it was our mistake, we didn’t ask about it and we have ordered additional poached egg anyway so all good.

The issue was the croque madame, that is served with fried (sunny side up) egg. First I was served fully cooked, practically charred egg. I ask for another one, that had a runny yolk, as it should be. I was waiting for 20 minutes for them to prepare another fried egg, during this time I was brought two eggs that had fully uncooked egg whites on the upper half. We even showed them a picture from google images that shows what’s comes after searching the “fried egg”. I still didn’t get it and my croque madame was fully cold by then so I just said that I would like to return that - they took my plate, all good right? Nah, when it came to payment they fully expected me to pay for a meal I did not eat! I said I’m fine paying for it if they will bring me back the full plate I returned to the kitchen. That was not a good solution for them. I then had to argue for 10 mins that I will not pay for that, they even expect their kitchen staff...

Worst place we been too in Prague. AVOID! Overpriced, small portion sizes, went in here no staff came to help or sit you down, this happened to everyone entering, had to ask 3 staff passing by to take our order were waiting ages, I ordered an "English breakfast". Mini sausages, burnt egg, no toast, never in 34 years on this planet have I had an salad come with an "English breakfast" even at farmers produce cafes, London restaurants and countryside pubs. My breakfast on top of my eggs was covered in green. Why?!? I didn't finish my food. My GF was charged for water in a bottle when it came from tap water and wasn't given in a jug, in my country water is free. By law... Tables were also tiny so there was barely any space for anything, you could of easily knocked your drinks off. Wouldn't accept card, there's a small sign at bottom left of the door saying no card, completely missed it, asked to pay in card they refused, asked to speak to a manager who was just someone who didn't care and spoke better English, had to use an ATM to withdraw money to get a 50% transaction fee. Staff didn't care, just stared at you with blank eyes, said I'd leave a bad review of my experience, the told me to leave one like there was an echo in a cave of my own voice, it was like speaking to a wall, the staff seemed to be on auto pilot mentality and physically. Customer service and making a good experience is beyond some people, go somewhere cheaper and with better food.

Tourist scam!! Unfortunately, this is cash only, and the ATM machines nearby are bad and not worth it for tourists. There is a very small sign outside that suggests this is cash only local, but it should be way bigger for a place like this. I'll attach some photos for u to see with binoculars. The food was good, not gonna lie, we liked it. The price is pretty expensive, but for a one-time treat, we decided to go for it. The waiters don't really speak English. They really avoid looking into your eyes, do not smile, and can't give you proper answers and try to ignore and get rid of you. Rude. Unprofessional. We really were polite and tried to have a normal, friendly discussion. Of course, we were OK with paying this way if there was no other option, but we tried to explain to them our inconvenience. Their tip went to the ATM, sorry. It's called feedback from clients. Another HUGE RED FLAG I'd that they gave us no receipt. That confirms my suspicion for fraud. If you're a tourist, please avoid this place. don't be like us, who did not read the reviews, only looked for the rating.
