We stayed at this lovely hotel as a group of 6 in 3 separate rooms. Right from the beginning of our 4-day trip to Prague the hotel showed us what it means to be a great host. They arranged a airport shuttle for us so we didn't have to make the way on our own (the shuttledriver is not associated with the hotel, this just to clarify). The check-in and check-out have been very easy and not complicated at all.
The Hotel itself is in a very lovely and interesting area of Prague, alot of embassies are in close proximity and alot of the sights of Prague (Strahov Monestary, Prague Castle etc.) are within a walking distance.
The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. During our 4 days we always had the feeling that they don't just "work" there, but they also enjoy being there and enjoy interacting with their guests. Be it at the reception desk or in the small restaurant/bar. They always have a smile on their face, and just make you feel comfortable.
The breakfast is very good, especially the scrambled eggs on croissant or the french toast. Those are just 2 of the dishes, all of them are delicious, its just the most remarkable ones we had.
The rooms itself are very spacious and beautiful to look at, you get the feeling you take a step back in time (in a good way). The whole building itself is beautiful.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and we will be coming back for our next...

Highly recommend.
Set on the upscale street of Nerudova, opposite the Embassy of Romania and next to the Embassy of Italy, is this elegant hotel Nerudova 211. I had an early arriving flight, six hours too early before check-in time but the owners and their excellent management team arranged for an early check-in and that was so very kind! I was offered a welcome drink, and in my room, there was a selection of complimentary teas as well as whisky. The bathroom has top-of-the-range products from a local manufacturer called Manufaktura, and the best part is they are vegan!
While travelling mishaps such as a loose button or wrinkled dress can be such a daunting bit. However, at Nerudova 211 they show their thoughtfulness by providing a sewing kit, an iron plus board, a lint roller, shoe cleaning products, laundry service, slippers and bath robes to make for a thoroughly hospitable and stress-free stay. I am grateful for that.
The room was impeccably designed and tastefully decorated, reflecting the invested passion and attention to detail...
Read moreThere is so much detail in this family hotel, café and bar, and I am sure I'll miss some bits. First, the building. It seems custom designed, from the ceiling paintings (16th/17th century?), to small tables holding your drink, which are around 200 years old. Second, the staff. The managing couple are beyond courteous, while running day to day work like a smooth running automaton. Third, the neighborhood. Yes, Nerudova is one of the streets you have walked the route up and down during your travel to the castle and cathedral. The offerings satisfy the beer drinker and the, good and beyond kitchen fare, and coffee aficionados. With more time spent there, you find more and more little gems around this neighborhood. There's more, like daily specials not found on the menu, the short walks to all the spots you don't want to miss, and more. Again, yes, I'm sure I'm missing some good stuff here... I really, really liked...
