Very interesting fusion place with a pleasantly short but varied menu. We started with cracklings and pickles, both really good. Cracklings were melting in my mouth and pickles were really refreshing, thinly sliced, not too sweet, not too sour. Then we followed with duck leg and pork ribs. The duck leg was great, served on a bed of red cabbage with baked apples, dusted with pork cracklings with a side of potato pancakes and I would not change a thing about it. The two pork ribs came with a coleslaw salad, which was very fresh and the ribs were really tasty and falling of the bone. Here I'd prefer a third rib while cutting the portion of coleslaw to a half. The side of fries was fresh, crispy, thinly cut and salted just right. Again nothing to change here, perhaps just the sauce, as it is an extra order, could come in a bigger bowl. We finished the meal with two BAO buns, again exceptional, they come with a side of fries which was a pleasant surprise to us. Beer was well poured, cold and refreshing. Gin and tonic was tasty, but weak. One of the waitresses was great and attentive, the other perhaps a little lost. The manager was professional, friendly and very diligent. Overall with the current prices (50% off everything) this is an amazing deal, and I sincerely wish them all luck as this street corner seems to be somewhat cursed for new restaurants. Now if I paid double would I feel the same way? ....well I guess we'll see next time I come, because I am definitely coming back.🙂

I'll try to be fair. The place is quite expensive for no reason (maybe because of their high rent, I don't know), as the prices are comparable to Michelin guide restaurants - which is nonsensical for what they offer. The waiter we got was acting a bit weird (hard to say if he was rude or didn't speak good English or both) but the rest of the staff was polite. Food was good overall, the octopus carpaccio and the shared pork variety dish. The dessert was deplorable (insultingly small piece of cheesecake and not tasty as well but the sorbet is kind of making up for it). The cocktails were average, not great but better than most Czech restaurants. I'm also very annoyed when waiters ask for tip. If I want to tip it means that it was well deserved and I will do it myself, without you guilt tripping me over it. Overall it is worth a visit but it's a 50-50 if you will enjoy it.

The bao bun and BBQ meat were great. Downside was the "burrata" dish. It felt like tomato soup with TINY hidden pieces of burrata in it. I don't think it should be called a burrata dish. It was not the main star. It should be called a tomato soup with burrata in it. If I knew it would be tomato soup, I wouldn't have ordered it. I almost felt deceived. Other than that everything was quite nice and I would return for the bao bun. The male waiter was great. The female waiter seemed quite confused and didn't understand English that well. We told her we were sharing our food, but she decided to bring our starters and main at the same time. It was ridiculous because there wasn't even space on the table and by the time we got to the main, it was cold. Next time I would ask for a different server because the BBQ and bao were good enough to visit again.

Very nice place to have a lunch or dinner. Well decorated that makes you feel very cosy inside. The food was excellent. Because of the special offer of 50% on the prices, we got the chance to try different things. We ordered 2 starters, the Tartare and the Octopus and 2 main dishes, the Wasabi Beef Rib and the Duck. All were amazing, very well cooked, super tasty and nice presented. Portions are good, not enormous but having a starter along with the main course and considering they are offering you fresh bread along with the food, also very tasty, it is enough to have a complete lunch. We also got 2 deserts, the Smoked Pear and the Maracuja Cheesecake and both were excellent too. The service was very good as well, responsive and very friendly without bothering you. Price wise I find it very reasonable for the food quality and the service, especially with this special offer. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. Even with the full menu prices, I believe it is still worth it. If there were no 50% discount, we would probably not had ordered 2 deserts and maybe it is a place for visiting once in a while, but with the current offer I could really go every single day for a lunch. I wish I had discovered it earlier. I will definitely return next time I'll...

Had dinner here with my family here and everything was excellent and memorable. The price per person may seem high, but we obviously made the most of it with starters, main dish, dessert and many drinks.

We started with Burrata and Octopus Carpaccio. Main dishes were the River's Meat Plate, the Duck and the Wasabi Beef Ribs. Finished with a Cheese Cake and Smoked Pear.

All of these were very tasty and presented creatively and neatly. Everything with "Smokey" before it, drinks and food, were of course presented under a Smokey glass bowl(duh, it's the Smokelab after all)

The River's Meat Plate is excellent if you can't decide what to eat because it's an assortment of almost everything tasty. If I have to say anything negative, the Wasabi was not as spicy as expected. Plenty of other things on the Meat plate were pretty spicy, though, luckily.

Service and setting were perfect. I forgot to ask the name of the server but she was very friendly, attentive and helpful whenever we had questions (food related ánd when we asked to take pictures)

Highly recommended, as a duo or even as a bigger group. Even Vegans have options, but it is primarily a meat restaurant. If you're a big fan of eating meat, this restaurant is a...
