We stopped by this café for breakfast. While the prices were fairly typical or a bit on the higher side, the overall experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a matcha, which was poorly prepared — watery and lacking flavor. The breakfast dish I chose looked much more generous in the menu photo, but in reality, the portion was small and unimpressive.

To top it off, when we received the bill, we noticed that a 10% service charge had been added without any prior notice or indication. When we asked the waitress about it, she explained that the owner instructs staff to include this fee automatically without informing guests.

It’s disappointing to see this kind of practice. I strongly recommend avoiding this place — there are far better cafés in Prague where you won’t be misled or overcharged.

In response to the owner’s comment: We would like to clarify that we are from Belarus, not Russia, and we have absolutely no negative attitude toward people from any other country — including Ukraine. We honestly do not care who serves us, as long as the service is respectful and transparent.

Accusing guests of reacting badly to “Ukrainian service” is not only false but also irresponsible and divisive. Such statements only fuel unnecessary tension between nations, which is especially inappropriate in a hospitality setting.

Furthermore, if the 10% service charge was such a “standard practice,” you wouldn’t have refunded it after we questioned it. That contradiction...

We went there for breakfast as the place looked appealing. We had a table quickly and they came to take our order after 1 min. As we didn’t have time to look at the menu, we asked the server to come back in 5 min. She was annoyed. Once we ordered, we got our drinks straight away. The waitress didn’t didn’t even look at us, she couldn’t care less. The food arrived in 15-20min. Same thing, she couldn’t care less. The service was very poor. Everyone from the staff had an attitude. The food was nice though, nothing to say on that end. Now comes the time to pay. A waitress gave us the price without giving the bill. Once we paid, she gave the bill and we notice a 10% service fee. Naturally we asked her what were the 10% for? And she answered that it was normal, and every restaurant did it. We argued as she was lying to our face. It’s not because we are young tourists that we are dumb. We just ended up leaving. Overall, event though the food is nice, it’s a place for tourists, that doesn’t care about their clients and...

An Exceptional Brunch Experience at Bond Café!”

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bond Café in Prague, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was crafted to perfection, with fresh ingredients and exquisite flavors. I had the scrambled eggs with goat cheese, and the combination of flavors was a top-tier culinary experience. The richness of the goat cheese paired perfectly with the soft, fluffy eggs, making every bite unforgettable.

The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. They really went the extra mile to ensure that we had a memorable meal.

The atmosphere was cozy yet stylish, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing brunch. Whether you’re a fan of classic brunch dishes or looking to try something new, Bond Café is the place to be.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Prague! A perfect combination of great food, service,...

Good place, if you are looking for a quick tasty breakfast in the center of Prague. We ordered 4 breakfast options, and were served in 10-15 minutes. The food was good, nothing fancy, but it will get you full — especially if you are planning to take a walk around the city after. Coffee is not this place's main specialty, so I would advise picking something else - lemonade or orange juice. If you are planning to try something special, the only option I would recommend here would be traditional Czech pancakes. The rest of the menu is pretty common (like an omelette with beckon, sweet and sour pancakes). Consider, that dividing payment if you are going as a group is not possible.
