I’m visiting the Czech Republic from the U.S., and on Saturday, some friends and I decided to check out Terasa Smíchov. There was supposed to be a concert, but it got canceled. Still, we went anyway – and honestly, I’m so glad we did.
Instead of the concert, a DJ played through the evening, and to my surprise (and delight), the music had a strong Latin vibe – salsa, bachata, reggaeton… It instantly brought a taste of home and set the perfect mood for a summer night. The overall vibe was laid-back but lively, the kind of place where you can chill with a drink or get up and dance if the rhythm pulls you in.
The cocktail menu also really stood out. One drink in particular caught my attention – their new Coconut Daiquiri. It was light, refreshing, with just the right touch of coconut – perfect for a warm evening. Their selection is creative and definitely worth exploring.
The staff were friendly and easygoing. The girls behind the bar had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel welcome, even if you didn’t speak Czech. I really appreciated the relaxed and natural energy – it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
All in all, Terasa Smíchov truly surprised me in the best way. Even without the concert, the atmosphere, music, drinks, and people created a memorable evening. If you’re looking for a spot in Prague to soak in summer energy with a bit of Latin spirit, this is a place I’d...

Access is either through the main food court at the shopping centre or you can also use a side stairs at the back side street.
The place is massive, with a variety of places to sit with a large bar area.
Unfortunately due to most of the areas taken by kids who are constantly making a nuisance of themselves, there is no point in trying to chill, enjoy a cocktail and take in the sun.
Recommendation
Firstly show your staff how to make cocktails, secondly kick the kids out of an alcoholic area especially without kids and thirdly play background music.

These things really stand out when mobility is limited — worth keeping in mind for anyone with...
