Ban Gaw — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

After reading good things about this place, my brother and I decided to visit. We were seated quickly, and given a very large choice of food on the menu! It took a while for the waitress to return to take our order, but once she did, the food came very quickly. We both got a curry - I ordered a chicken curry with peanuts and onion - it was extremely tasty! They also come with a bowl of rice between the two curries, which was definitely enough food!

The service was slow to clear our food, and the waitress didn't ask us if we wanted dessert or the bill, so we went to the front to pay as some others were - just say your table number.

Overall, great Thai food (a rarity, I find), but the service speed was a let-down,...

First of, amazing service. The girl who’s serving us was friendly and polite, soft spoken and always with a smile. The food were a hit or miss . The shrimp and mushrooms Tom yum soup was amazing, blasting with flavour and enough heat 🌶️ and the shrimp was fresh, despite the portion being very small 😰. As for the chicken,egg and veggie soya sauce stir fried noodles, it was bad. The soya sauce is too sweet and the flavour of the dish didn’t match up, it’s too salty, too sweet, but somehow bland? Some of the veggies aren’t even fully cooked and the chicken wasn’t tender enough. Very disappointing. Overall, I might think twice before visiting again. Maybe they have better noodle dish that...

The service was pretty poor and the waiters were too busy to care. We were told we should order ASAP since our seats would be available until 15:00, but it was 13:39. I thought we had enough time to think over what we want to. In fact, we finished our meals at 14.15. The food was served so quickly that there was no need to rush your order.

We weren't given a clear confirmation of our order, and we lost one dish when we asked for it. I said hello to him to let him know I’d like to check the order, but he told me to say excuse me instead of hello. That was very rude.

Food was good, but the service would make me forget how good it was. I won't be going back...
