This place is none other than the legendary gathering spot for beer lovers — famous not just locally, but globally within the craft beer scene. Many people travel to Copenhagen every year just to attend the MBCC festival hosted by this brand.🍻🌍

The drinkers here are truly unstoppable — come rain or shine, they’ll brave the weather and sit outdoors just to enjoy a pint, since indoor seating is very limited. Some past reviews even mentioned there being “introvert-only seats”… Excuse me? Have you ever seen an introverted drunk? Once the drinks kick in, they’re dying to chat up anyone nearby! 🤣

There’s no such thing as an “i-person” (introvert) here — strangers quickly find something in common over a pint. The bar offers a wide variety of beer styles: fruity, sour, bitter, stouts, lagers, wheat beers, red ales, IPAs — you name it. For anyone who used to think beer only meant Carlsberg, this place will open a whole new world. 🍺🌈

The staff at the counter are super professional. If it’s your first visit, they’ll happily recommend beers based on your preferences.

We've visited this Mikkeller bar on 2 other trips and our outstanding experience this time was just as we've come to expect. First, you're not going to find a bad beer on the list. It's great that you can count on the bartenders to help you find what you're looking for, but you'd do well with any of the offerings.

Did I mention the bartenders are top notch? Super attentive and friendly if you need something, but not overbearing when you just want to enjoy your drink in peace.

The place is family friendly, as well. I wouldn't bring a child who couldn't be reasonably well behaved, but we brought our toddler in and not only were the bartenders really welcoming and cool about it, one of the guys even shared his milk from his lunch with our son so he had a drink besides water.

The space is cozy and located in a semi-basement (though it still has windows facing outside), resembling a typical local bar. Inside, it’s filled with people enjoying their beers—some alone, others in groups—creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
