This was my 7th visit to BLOOM over the span of a year — and we’ve now brought family and friends on five different occasions. Every single time, without fail, the guests we’ve brought along have praised both the high quality of the food and the outstanding service.
The only time the experience felt slightly different was on Easter Eve — perhaps due to a larger crowd or a change in the kitchen team that day. As returning guests, we could tell there was a slight dip in the usual standard: the mashed potatoes weren’t as smooth, the fries were a little cold and lacked crispness, and the duck confit didn’t have the usual crunch. Still, the food was good overall — just not as exceptional and consistent as the previous six times, which had truly set the bar high.
What remained consistently excellent was the service. Over the past year, we’ve seen different team members at BLOOM Vesterbro, and every one of them has delivered warm, attentive, and professional service. They’re proactive in checking in, explaining the menu, and making a real effort to ensure every guest is looked after.
As someone with a severe gluten intolerance, eating out always comes with a certain level of anxiety — even after so many positive experiences here. Because the front-of-house staff often changes, I make it a point to speak directly with them each time, and they’ve always communicated clearly with the kitchen to make sure my needs are fully understood. On a few occasions, they told me that they’ve taken reassuring steps like changing gloves or taking extra care during food preparation. For people with allergies like mine, that kind of consistent communication and attention makes all the difference.
We truly love the high standards of both food and service at BLOOM Vesterbro. Please help me extend my sincere thanks to every staff member who’s been part of our visits — they’ve made each experience feel safe, warm, and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place where you can eat with such peace of mind.
Thank you for all the care you’ve shown so far — and please continue to keep it up. It means the world to guests like me. I also hope you’ll continue to train both your front-of-house and kitchen staff on how to handle cross-contamination risks for gluten intolerance. Highly recommend to people with gluten...

Read moreI recently got married in Denmark, and the service that helped us with our paperwork also recommended several restaurants. One of their suggestions was The Maple Casual Dining. When I reached out via email, they informed me that their space was too small for our group of 20. However, the wonderful Hailey recommended Bloom Vesterbro, which is part of the same family and offers the same menu but with a larger space.
I can't express enough how amazing the service was, even before our dinner. Hailey was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions promptly, even months before our reservation. They were very flexible with the timing and the number of guests.
The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests were blown away by the meal, and we received so many compliments for choosing such a fantastic place to celebrate our wedding. We decided to go for the tasting menu which has 4 good dishes, but they also accommodate for vegetarian options. Don't let the tasting menu name fool you, you will be stuffed after. The ambiance was quite chill, and the music choice is great to make you feel that it's only you and your close ones in that space.
I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to celebrate their wedding with family and close friends. Just be sure to make your reservation at least two months in advance, as they do get busy—and for good reason, given the excellent food...
