Frankies — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I just saw this place from across the street, since it had semi-open lounge area on the 2nd floor (earth floor=1) and just went there to chill a bit and have a drink.

This place has amazing, unexpectedly great pizzas. They feel like the pizza you ate in Northern Italy, which were cooked in the classical stone oven minutes before served. Same was here, although not 100% certain about the oven.

Place is somewhat pricey, but not disgustingly pricey. In other words, for a place in Old Town, in Denmark, prices are very reasonable.

What I would love to see is a bigger cocktail selection, but on the other hand, they offer all you can eat AND DRINK service for 350DKK, which in my opinion is a great thing for any Stag Do or just simply 16 year old hungry boy.

Anyway, highly recommend to come over for a quick pizza and rate it yourself. I loved this place and right now literally stopped eating just to write...

Yesterday, in this half-empty restaurant, we were left waiting at the entrance for around 10 minutes before being seated rather ungraciously.

Before the order - We had clearly stated that we wished to pay separately, as we were both on business trips representing different companies – something that should not be a problem anywhere in 2025. Yet the waitress responded with a blunt no, in an unfriendly manner.

Such a policy is completely unacceptable unless communicated in advance or clearly displayed, which it was not. This leaves a very discouraging impression, and judging by others’ experiences, we are not the only ones affected.

Both the service and the basic level of respect urgently need improvement. As it stands, the standard is...

Terrible experience all way around...

We were 10 colleagues that had booked the "Frankie's feast", but Frankies did not live up to the expectations... Firstly, the pizzas we got were ice cold and you are not able to order any specific pizzas in case you were vegetarian. Secondly, the drinks were a simple strong lemonade, but the drinks in general were fine. Thirdly, and most outrageously, we had one person who was sick and hence we only showed up 9 people. However, when the bill arrived, we were to pay for all 10 people as the restaurant expected us to cancel the last seat 7 days before. (How should we be able to predict illness 7 days in advance?) So Frankies got paid 395kr for absolutely nothing, but a online booking.
