After years of visiting La Baracca at the Tivoli Food Hall, we were thrilled to visit Osteria La Baracca.
Our expectations were high, but Franco exceeded them⦠by far!
We ordered the four course menu, which is highly recommended.
The antipasto was incredible. The pear, pecorino, and honey was a highlight.
The second course, the spaghetti allāamitriciana was fantastic. (This is available at the Tivoli Food Hall, and for my money, itās the best amitriciana anywhere!)
For the third course, Franco prepared a rosemary chicken that was out of this world. The best chicken I have had in ages.
The dinner wrapped with vin santo and biscotti, which were better than we had in Tuscany.
In short, dinner at Osteria La Baracca was an amazing experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough⦠the best restaurant in Copenhagen. Franco does wonders here!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to La barraca in the food hall 5 years ago when I came to Copenhagen for the first time and I never forgot. It was one of the best Italian food I ever had and I have been to Italy and food was amazing. You could see Franco cooked with love and dedication. When I saw they had opened an osteria I kept talking about it with my husband, so for my birthday we came to Copenhagen again just to have dinner in Osteria La Baracca and it didn't disappoint. Food is AMAZING, the host Franco and staff super nice and you can see everything was done with so much dedication. The attention to detail the quality of the food, so fresh and authentic... Delicious. I will come back again for sure to try new food. I highly recommend this place. If you are in Copenhagen please try this place, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Franco and staff for the amazing food and wine. Everything...

Owner and staff are all Italian, from Florence. They shop for fresh ingredients daily and the menu changes daily or every few days depends on what ingredients are in season.
They also import olive oil and flour from Italy and pasta is fresh made in the house. Itās a huge difference in the taste and presentation of dishes when this much effort and passion is put in.
We ordered Spaghetti con polpo, red sauce, so flavorful, just perfection.
We tried a couple of wines, Prosecco paired with dessert, then limoncello. Everything is just so good, we canāt be happier we got to stop by here.
For dessert we had Dolce del giorno (a cream tart with pomegranate fresh jam and...
