I rarely find all in one: good food paired with good service and comfy atmosphere (I am picky), but your cafe deserves a good review despite some flaws. We came for breakfast, ordered shakshuka, pancakes, eggs benedict, coffee, tea, juice, bread. My favourite was pancake with vanilla cream. Great taste, great presentation. Also, service was quick, efficient, and English communication was seamless. We were mostly served by Luca, and he was spot on. He understood everything, was keeping us updated, checked on our satisfaction. I felt like he is a one man show, you see him at the entrance, with trays, with credit card machine and everywhere it's him. Like a superman. But, a true service should not be rushed. As I understood, some of your staff were on leave, and the staff on duty were a bit overloaded as the place was busy.
My suggestions and room for improvement:
I guess that's all what I wanted to say! Sorry for the long constructive feedback. Hope it helps. Wishing you...
Read moreSalmon Eggs Benedict (155 DKK) – 8/10 Normally, I'm not a huge fan of eggs Benedict for brunch—it’s such a standard menu item that it doesn’t often excite me. But I was intrigued by the use of a crispy sweet potato “cake” as the base, so I decided to give it a try. I found that I really liked the sweetness from the sweet potato, as it balanced out all the savory components of the dish. The beetroot-smoked salmon was excellent too, meeting my general expectations for quality salmon in the Nordics. Another highlight was the hollandaise sauce, which had a nice balance of richness and tanginess. Overall, one of the better eggs Benedict dishes I’ve had.
Morning Plate (125 DKK) – 7/10 A fairly standard breakfast plate for Copenhagen, featuring sourdough, cheese, jam, butter, ham, and soft-boiled eggs. My friend and I spent an embarrassingly long time trying to peel the eggs, but other than that, everything was enjoyable. It’s not a mind-blowing dish (since most of the ingredients are basic breakfast staples that you could easily recreate at home), but it was delicious in its simplicity...
Read moreIf you're looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast in Copenhagen, Ø12 restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The space is bright and welcoming, with plenty of natural light and a modern, tasteful decor.
The menu at Ø12 offers a range of breakfast options, from classic dishes like pancakes to more unique offerings like shakshouka. The standout dish for me was definitely the shakshouka - it was perfectly spiced and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. ❤️🔥The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price!
The staff at Ø12 were certainly super friendly and accommodating, however I didn't have as much interaction with them as I might have during a lunch or dinner service. That being said, the service was prompt and efficient, and my food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection 🥳
Overall, my experience at Ø12 was super pleasant. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast to start your day or a leisurely brunch with friends, Ø12 is a great choice. Just be sure to book a table in advance, as the restaurant can get quite busy...
