We went to this restaurant to eat with my wife and our child. Before siting we said we were 2 adults and 1 child. We were told that we could sit outside and that we had to pay for our order in advance! After we ordered and paid, he came to our table and told us that it was not appropriate for us to sit. Although we said that we had asked before we sat down and that this place would be suitable, the person inside the restaurant shouted at my husband as “STUPID”. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THE RESTAURANT OF THESE ILL-MANNERED AND DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE!
Response:
First of all, I am at peace with the fact that those who read your comment will understand how aggressive and disrespectful you are, just as I was when we were there.
We sat where you told us it was appropriate for us to sit. If it was not appropriate, why did you ask us to sit there? After we paid for the food that we not eaten and sat down, we were disturbed by your staff coming up to us several times aggressively and telling us that we were wrong. On the other hand, I did not call your friend “your other little friend” but “your other friend” and you should have seen from the camera recordings that I had no malicious intentions when I said that. It is not nice of you to lie, but it is so expected of you that I am not surprised. After all these extremely disturbing behaviors of your "well educated employees" said my husband "STUPID", we had to leave with our child without eating our $70 meal. Nothing in this situation gives us the right to say "STUPID"! FOR THE PEOPLE WHO THINKS TO TRY THIS PLACE, BE CAREFUL SOMEONE WHO SHOULD SERVE YOU CAN COME AND BOTHER YOU AFTER TELLING STUPID! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISRESPECTFUL AND...
Read moreI wanted to share my experience at this INCREDIBLE pizza restaurant in downtown Copenhagen called C'Ho Fame. Wy wife and I went there during our recent visit to Copenhagen, based on a recommendation at the front desk of our hotel. I asked for an AUTHENTIC Italian pizza place that would be fun and not full of unnecessary frills. WOW, they were right about this! C'Ho Fame was unpretentious, cozy, fun, authentic, friendly, and served the best pizza I've had in Europe. We liked it so much, we went back for a second dinner and it did not disappoint. What's nice about this place is that the owners actually work here and as such as invested in providing a memorable and satisfying experience. One does the cooking, the other manages the serving. The wait staff are all super friendly and want to make sure you are treated well and have a good time. All without being bothersome. After some discussion, I learned that one owner, Karina, is full Danish, and the other owner, her husband, is pure Roman! What a combo. We laughed because I am 1/2 Danish and 1/2 Italian. Seriously though, if you're looking for great authentic Italian pizza, a fun dining experience, and superb service, check it out. You won't be disappointed. I added a photo of me and Karina, one of the...
Read moreTo be honest, it's more of a 2,5 than 3 stars. After reading so many positive reviews and receiving recommendations from friends we decided to try it out.
The interior was nicely decorated (very cozy) and the staff was friendly. But we were a bit disappointed about the pizzas. The wine (montepulciano) was lovely though. We ordered the pennica (number 8) and the Stai manzo (number 10) and a portion of bread. The pizza dough was well-made in terms of texture but there was not a lot of flavor in it. It was the same for the toppings for both pizzas. The purple potato and porcini mushrooms on the nr 8 pizza hardly had any flavors and the slices of ham were the only thing that stood out. The c'ho fame charcuterie on the nr 10 pizza also hardly had any flavors like the rest of the toppings and there it was only the olive that really stood out in terms of taste.
All in all, the pizzas were quite flat in flavors. For pizzas of this price range (150-190 dkk), we expected more of it. Lastly, the bread was served without anything. We expected something simple like olive oil and sea salt to go alongside it but alas.
It's good to know that if the menu doesn't mention a pizza having tomato sauce as a base, it really doesn't have tomato sauce...
