I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! Looking for Danish food? I recommend this

professional server, I'm not familiar with herrings, and the guy marvelously explain it to me to the point i could even taste the herrings with only listen to his explanations lol food is very good! I'm quite picky with the taste of fish, i dont like "fishy" taste and fish oily feelings that's just yuck, but here, nope! Perfect af! ambience is dope! Ppl talking yes, but not to the point where it's deafening you, more like mumbling, and most are seniors, which i like (reminds me of my grandpa) food portion is enough, not too much, also not too less, just enough level, plus, the taste is quite dope!

the kitchen close at 4.00pm, sad :( idk if in future they'll change the closing hours, calling in advance...

As always Husmanns is a top-ten choice to take both domestic as well as intl. guests for a business lunch. It's been a while, I do it regularly and shall continue to do so. We had Roastbeef/Frikadeller w. Potatoe salad, and the meat was excellent the potatoe salad not so much. The fried plaice w shellfish topping was also excellent. Service is pleasant, jovial and adequate and I have said it before and now say it in public: SERVE MORE BREAD, and don't have you customers ask for it! Why Google chose to grade it $$ is enigmatic and 35,- for 25cl soft drink seems robbery and that's just DK lunchening for you. Still, it's appalling.

If the scale was 25, the grade would have been 18, i.e....

My son and I had just arrived in Copenhagen for the first time and thought the Google reviews for Husmanns looked good and we were in the area. We came without a reservation but were welcomed very warmly by John, a charming and very helpful head waiter. He introduced us to the traditions of the Smorrabrod lunch and he best beers and importantly Snaps to enjoy with our meal. The food was great and fresh, with outstanding flavours. John was very good at explaining the food courses and made us feel at home on our first day in Copenhagen. Top marks John..and the kitchen staff. Cosy traditional surroundings and friendly atmosphere. 100%...
