Pio Vin & Bar — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We stopped by Pio Vino one afternoon during our Copenhagen trip and absolutely loved it. It’s tucked into the heart of Inner Vesterbro, a lively yet laid back neighbourhood filled with cool cafés, hidden gems and that effortlessly local Copenhagen vibe.

The space feels relaxed; the kind of place where you instantly want to stay for another glass! The wine list is beautifully curated, with a focus on small European producers and natural wines. The staff were amazing; warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do.

We enjoyed a beautiful natural wine they recommended, along with some fresh oysters and Spanish style prawns with fresh baguette, which paired perfectly. They also have nice cheese options to go with the wines too! Pio Vino is both a bar and wine shop, so you can also take a bottle home, which I love.
