Taste of Taiwan - Nørrebro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Sorry to say but my experience wasn’t so good. Service was slow and unfortunately unfriendly. I asked if they have any plant-based milk for milk teas and had to explain what ‘plant-based’ is. The girl said they use milk powder but didn’t even know what kind (cow’s milk? plant milk?). So I said okay, forget the milk, and tried to order regular tea but she kept bringing up the milk, it was really confusing. There was no guide on how to order stuff, she asked whether I want this or that flavor and when I picked one she asked if I want a completely different tea. She then shouted to her colleague to take over for her in front of everyone, it was quite unprofessional. After I finally ordered I joined my friend who was also waiting for the tea. They could see we are together but they only asked me to wait outside. It was due to covid but there were people behind us who stayed inside. It was really strange and confusing and I wouldn’t be so sure my drink didn’t get any spit in it. I used to like the place but no more business...

The service was really bad. I have been here for a lot of times and their bubble tea is pretty good except that the cashier first of all cannot read English or speak Danish. We have ordered something else and got something almost every time that we are there at the Nørrebro shop. I usually check the drink at the cashier every time before I left, but this time I was in hurry so I didn’t get to check it. It is so annoying to come home with something else when you have ordered something else. We know that the worker do not really care since it’s they are not the owner, but this is pretty common to hire someone who can communicate and get the order correct.

I've been here a few times now and each time the teas are great, went there today and got the large taro with bubbles. But it was so shockingly sweet that I had to pause for a bit. Crunching down, I could taste literal sugar crystals between my teeth. Kind of gross honestly. It was never like this before, and hope that it doesn't happen again.

Hope the trash can enjoys what I couldn't :p
