THE SERVICE: Your experience when dinning anywhere starts the moment you walk in to the door and unfortunately my initial experience was not a good one. I walked in excited to try this place as my first breakfast place in Copenhagen (my first visit to Copenhagen actually). I arrived between 5-10 minutes BEFORE 10am to an almost empty restaurant maybe 2-3 guests were there. As I walk in I was told to wait for the “seater” girl. When she finally approached me at the door, I told her I was dining alone and she said she needed to check is there was any available seats, again the place was EMPTY! Plenty of seats inside in the warmth. She quickly tells me that there are no seats available as they are fully booked for guest that will be arriving at 10am and 1030am. She said I could however sit outside. It was a very cold morning! Really cold the table still had ice on it that she had to remove before I sat outside. Anyway I accepted to sit outside as I understand this place is quite popular. I sat outside in the cold ordered my food, received my food (quick service I must say), ate my food and NOT ONE other person came in to sit inside. NOT ONE! I asked for the bill and paid I was done my 10:26am ! I was absolutely upset that they wouldn’t allow me to sit inside as a party of 1! Instead they refused to let me sit inside like any decent human being would do and let me sit out in the cold. As I was paying I asked for the “seater” girls name and they refused to give it to me which also RED FLAG! This completely ruined my experience here.
THE FOOD: I ordered a simple eggs and bacon with a side of their waffle. Unfortunately my food would be cold before it even reached my mouth. The waffles were mediocre and nothing to write home about. I would never dine here again nor recommend this place. There are PLENTY of other amazing places in Copenhagen to chose from this shouldn’t be one.
A NOTE TO THE OWENER: Service is EVERYTHING!!! Your food would taste better if your service was outstanding it’s a shame that this is something that is...

Union Kitchen delivers a solid brunch plate. I went there with my husband and his friend, and we all tried different breakfast dishes. I got the brunch plate, my husband had the avocado rye bread with poached eggs, and our friend went for the breakfast burger and the popcorn chicken.
Everything was tasty and well made. The brunch plate was especially nice, good variety with scrambled eggs, a mini pancake, avocado rye bread, bacon, ham sausages, and more. It had a bit of everything, which I really liked. It would have been even better with a little more fruit and maybe a prettier presentation.
I also got two cappuccinos, and they were really good. A nice detail was the cute latte art.
Overall, it’s a great place for a classic brunch experience. Nothing groundbreaking, but very solid...
Read moreHad brunch here and really enjoyed it! We got the brunch plate and an Americano, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The plate had a great mix with scrambled eggs, sausages, avocado toast, smoked salmon, granola with yogurt, great sourdough bread, and more. Plenty of variety and good portions, so you leave feeling satisfied.
The staff was super friendly, and we sat inside, but there’s a nice outdoor area that is perfect for sunny days. Very convenient also for a walk by the nearby Lakes afterward. I used a Tipster coupon, which made it a great deal. Without the discount, it’s a bit pricey (225kr for the plate), so I’d probably go for something fancier if spending that much again. Overall, really cozy spot and worth...
