Our brief stay at the Colonial Villa Suites with Pool** was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic Zona Colonial, this beautifully restored 16th-century villa offered a serene retreat that seamlessly blended history with modern comfort.

The loft's minimalist design, featuring polished cement floors and lime-washed walls, exuded a calming ambiance. Waking up to the gentle sounds of parrots in the lush courtyard and enjoying a morning coffee on the private balcony overlooking the colonial street were highlights of our stay.

The pool, situated beneath ancient stone arches dating back to 1503, provided a refreshing escape after exploring the vibrant city. Its exclusivity to guests ensured a peaceful experience, free from the crowds often found in other accommodations.

While our time was limited, the convenience of the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare quick meals, adding to the homely feel of the loft. The self-check-in process was seamless, and the hosts provided clear instructions, making our arrival and departure hassle-free.

horrible place and staff. Would never stay here again. My team and I rented this place for a photoshoot and paid over 2,000 dollars to book it , they treated us very poorly and never returned our deposit of $400. The owner tried to charge extra for every single little thing such as a person sitting in the common area etc . Not to mention, they didn’t communicate to their guests there will be a photoshoot at the hotel during their stay, which is misleading. Needless to say, the owner made our life and our teams miserable.

As a Dominican magazine editor from the US, I advice you not to waste your money supporting businesses like this in our country . ! Ambiance - Location - Peacefulness !

We stayed with Mey and Jose at their stunning property for a weekend in May. It was everything we hoped for and more.

The space captivates you as soon as you walk in, showcasing walls of the historic hospital with beautiful ambient lighting. It has attention to detail without being overly styled - everything feels intentional.

We stayed in Loft #3 which was right next to a pool and with access to the back patio, making it feel like our room extended to the outdoors.

The location is the BEST. It is in the heart of everything, surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars and live music. Yet, it is quiet and peaceful once you step into the doors.

Learning about the history of the ground and the process of renovating it, was just the cherry on the cake!

We absolutely cannot wait to come back!
