It all started with breakfast cravings at work. Tabali Bistro’s founders were just looking for a decent breakfast meal in New Cairo but the options weren’t good enough. They took this opportunity and opened their very first branch in New Cairo, and now they’re expanding with a 3rd branch in Zamalek.
With Tabali’s unique options like Cheese and pickled lemon-stuffed falafel, pepperoni pizza omelette, halloumi cheese, mini sandwiches for those whom seek variety, and cheesy fries with mushroom sauce, ordering breakfast at work for Mohandsin, Dokki, and Zamalek residents is no longer basic and boring. And don’t get us started with their freshly made bread that just takes the perfectly prepared classics to a whole new level of deliciousness.
Dining in their beautifully decorated Zamalek branch is a cheerful experience you don’t want to miss. Read moreWe usually go for breakfast, but we were craving feteeer so we gave it a shot. Portion and taste of everything was really really nice, but there comes pickled potatoes with the Hawawshi... It was uncooked the fork doesn't go through it and spices aren't strong enough to cover the taste of raw potatoes... The guy came back and we told him that we are unable to eat it... The manager came said he tasted it and that's there standard here at TABALI but he is happy to exchange it with something else. We like their eggplant so we took that instead.... We had the Alexandrian meat hawawshi, ana TABALI with sojok fteeera and a French fries plate.... Yes the way this tiny plate of pickles is for 15 EGP so don't order that. We paid around 380 EGP total with one water with the order. Food nice... Service friendly... Chef yelling twice that we don't know their standards and that's how they do it not nice. Don't ever have tehina...

After scanning the menu and putting the order into the cart, a waiter took the order on paper and retyped it into a PC with touch display. The place was getting emptier and after almost 45 minutes the waiter approached me to ask for the order again as the system crashed. We left the place with a bitter taste without even getting a sip of water. A lot of people running around with limited roles....
