We had a bit of time to kill before the show and a lot of places were rammed and the weather wasn't being kind.

I found this on Google and based on the sound of their cocktail making skills I was lured.

Stepping in, it wasn't really my scene aka loud music, people, flashy lights but we secured a table. I ordered a pear apple mocktail for my friend and a chocolate pistachio one for myself. They took a bit of time to make which is not a criticism, its usually a sign its going to be good.

I was in awe when they were offered to me, the mocktail had a massive ice lolly dipped in it. Mine was like a thick boozy shake. Super indulgent.

Overall I personally would probably enjoy it more during the week/ day as I usually prefer old man pubs but...

Had our first finnish long drink here, they have original and pineapple. Happy hour prices are amazing (€4.50). They also have a sister pub in kallio called H11.

Looking for a place to sit with friends or on a date. This place is great the music is not too loud they have fun board games. Exploding kittens was our game of the night.

Sadly the chess board needs more pieces.

We visited Gate A21 during our trip to Helsinki as it was voted one of the 'must see' bars. I think we visited just after it opened as it was very quiet but the service was excellent.
