Title: Terrible service and disappointing food, especially for vegetarians

Review: We visited Siciliano in Helsinki with friends, and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The restaurant seemed to be run by just one person, who took orders and served, so getting anything we needed took a long time. Here’s what went wrong:

• The salad was not fresh, consisting mostly of rocket leaves with very little cucumber or carrots, and the portion size was extremely small. • The pizza was bland, and we had to wait so long to get salt, pepper, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese that the pizza had already gone cold by the time the waiter returned. • The risotto was yellow and tasted like turmeric, though the waiter claimed it was saffron. There was no real saffron flavor, which was disappointing. • The spaghetti was too dry and lacked enough white cream sauce, making it tasteless.

We spent 154 euros, and it was absolutely not worth the money. The quality of the food and service was far below expectations. If you are a vegetarian, I would highly recommend avoiding this place. There are better...

An italian place in the Main Central Boulevard of Helsinki, roughly a 5 minute walk away from Kaisaniemi / University of Helsinki Metro stop.

Very easy to find since it's on the Main Boulevard, food was alright although not very memorable, staff was very polite.

I recommend lasagna and Pasta Carbobara, they were very nice 🙏🏼

I just visited Ristorante Il Siciano in Helsinki, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The restaurant is situated in a great location.

The food at Ristorante Il Siciano was nothing short of superb. The menu had an excellent range of Italian dishes, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection

For the main course, we ordered the seafood pasta and the spaghettis. The sauces were rich and flavorful, and the pasta was cooked al dente, just the way it should be. We also ordered a side of garlic bread, which was fresh and garlicky and went perfectly with the pasta.
