CBeach - Plage Restaurant Cannes — Restaurant in Grasse

C Beach was single handedly my worst experience during my week in Cannes. Four of us visited for the firework festival, and were met with a set menu which online sounded pleasant. There was only one option and no alternatives for vegetarian or vegans though.

We arrived to our booking and were seated in the dark with a broken table light and no drink menus. no drink order was taken for roughly 30 minutes in which staff made no attempts to come to our table. Once we finally got our starter it turned out the sea bass was raw and had absolutely no flavour, none of us being particularly fussy with food couldn’t eat it, the main was also extremely bland for a €120 pp 3 course set-menu. The portion size was laughable too.

The dessert was a raspberry tart that tasted like it was just pulled from the freezer, after these 3 horrific courses we tried to speak to a member of staff who told us to speak to someone else. when we finally complained the member of staff told us to wait a second and then proceeded to take off and stand on an ipad for 10 minutes beside our table and then began serving others. when the manger finally came out, his solution to us was “the menu is the menu, if you don’t like you don’t like” then proceeded to take our bottle of wine off the bill which we were grateful for but we were happy to pay for the drinks as we had no issues with that, it was the inedible €120 pp menu we had an issue with in which none of us ate but still had to pay in full. the bill cost £480 Euros for food that was basically recycled and bulk bought.

The DJ was also atrocious and us and many other people in C Beach found ourselves enjoying the music flowing through from Hyde Beach Club more. Even a member of the C beach staff entered into hyde beach premises to have fun. overall, a disgusting and unenjoyable experience. would not recommend...

A disappointing and frustrating experience during the fireworks dinner.

We went to C Beach Nice for the fireworks night and chose the 4-course set menu (€125 per person), hoping for a special evening. Instead, we were met with terrible service and a manager who couldn’t care less.

1️⃣ We arrived at 9:30pm. Although most tables were empty, we were placed at a corner table. When we politely asked to change, the waiter refused, saying everything was fully booked. In reality, most of those tables stayed empty all night.

2️⃣ We waited until 10:30pm — a full hour — before a waiter came over and, to our surprise, asked how many courses we had finished. I told him none.

3️⃣ They had completely skipped the first course and served the second instead. The service between courses was painfully slow, and the entire meal felt disorganized.

4️⃣ At the end, I spoke to the manager (Romain), expecting at least an apology. Instead, he was rude and defensive. When I pointed out the missing course, he dismissed it, saying it was just cucumber and fish, as if that justified their mistake. He insisted we pay the full €125 per person and told me there was nothing he could do. When I said I would leave a review, he clearly didn’t care.

Bad service can happen — but when a manager shows such a poor attitude instead of taking responsibility, it ruins the entire experience. I would not recommend this...

I usually don't care about leaving a review but this time i felt like i had to... A reservation was made two month ago for sunbeds on the first row. This was confirmed. Once i arrived in Cannes i wanted to check if everything was ok. When i arrived at CBeach I was told that it's never possible to reserve a bed on the first row (even though this was confirmed in my email), but that didn't matter. When we asked if we could book it on the spot, we were told that it was already fully booked. We thought: how could this be, when they just told us that it's not possible to book in advance and at that moment the club just opened 😂. We stayed at the Marriott, which is opposite of the club, so we went immediately after breakfast. The staff and the person who replied on my email were not nice at all when I showed them the proof. The funniest thing is that i'm actually from a very wealthy family, but I wanted to arrange everything on my own, in stead of using a concierge to arrange everything for me and my friend, that obviously turned out not well at all 😂. If they think that this is acceptable, I would recommend everyone to just go to the beach clubs next to them, where they actually respect people. Eventually we went to an amazing Beach club were everything was fixed in minutes, but at CBeach they should be nice to everyone. You never know who you have in...
