Palais Stéphanie Beach — Restaurant in Grasse

I can't leave a review without rating at least one star. I will never step foot on this beach again. The staff was so incredibly rude! One of the waiters literally held his hand up to my face when I requested to be seated at the table that was promised to our group of 4. We were told other people were waiting longer than we were. Well the table sat there, perfectly set, waiting for the other group of 4 people who walked up 20 minutes later. Not only that, but we were sat at a table for 2 and we hadn't even received place settings, napkins, menus or anything and the group that sat 20 minutes later already had drinks on their table. Apparently that table had girls at it that the waiter was trying to impress. So beyond disgusted with the level of rudeness. We tried prior to get chairs at the beach, and pay for them, and we were waiting and waiting with multiple people walking by who refused to help us. When one kind gentleman came to help us, he was pulled away by a coworker mid-sentence of helping us. A place I keep coming back to — for good reason. I’ve been visiting the Palais de Stéphanie Beach Club for over five years now, and every visit feels like coming home to my happy place.

The location is unbeatable – right in front of the Marriott in Cannes, with the most beautiful view of the sea. I love spending the day on the pier – that’s where I truly unwind. I’ve brought countless friends here from Zürich, and without exception, they’ve all fallen in love with this place.

A huge thank you to Christophe, Gauthier, Clemence, Valentin, Julien, Johanna and a lot of other employees with so much care and professionalism. The service is consistently excellent – warm, attentive, and personal (they put a lot of effort).

Nous sommes venues sans réservation à 19h30 pour ma mère et moi. L’hôtesse d’accueil pas souriante nous affirme qu’il reste de la place, nous lui demandons alors de nous placer côté sable/plage pour profiter de la vue. Le service n’ayant pas débuté, elle nous invite à nous rapprocher du bar et Nous informe qu’elle viendrait nous chercher pour nous accompagner à notre table. Cocktails très bon (16€ chacun dans les prix pratiqués un peu partout)et barman super accueillant ! Une heure après, elle revient seulement !! Nous amène à une table en bordure, mais se rend compte qu’elle est réservée et nous propose qu’une seule table disponible (soit disant il y avait de la place!!!) Et qu’elle place!!!!!! Table au fond complètement collée à l’accueil et bancale comme jamais !!! On lui exprime notre étonnement et déception et le souhait formulé au préalable :  « estimez-vous heureuses d’avoir une table sans avoir réservé »!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J’hallucine!!! Musique trop forte! 1er plat : guacamole minute: fade, chaud, sans sauveur!!! Et vu le prix (21€) , ça démarre mal! Moi un tartare de loup : fade, sans saveur également et je ne comprends pas « la sauce/purée d’épinards » qui vient accompagner ce tartare!!! (39€!!!!!) ça fait mal au c... Ma mère, carpaccio de poulpe : également et encore fade et sans saveur, l’accompagnement, des carottes râpées dessus, tout comme mon plat n’apportent absolument rien !!!! (27€!!!) Ah oui, l’eau plate du robinet : 9€!!! Il n’y avait que le vin de correct pour ce repas (38€!) Quelle déception !!! Moi qui reçoit ma mère en vacances et qui voulait lui faire plaisir.... Au final pas loin de 170€ la soirée pour si mal manger Et se retrouver à l’accueil !!!! Ah oui, les fameuses places en bordure qui étaient pas réservées, puis finalement réservées, tenez-vous bien : toujours libres en fin de notre repas (22h30!!) Et celles qui soit -disant étaient pour des 3 couverts et donc pas pour nous car nous sommes 2 , cerise sur le gâteau et bien devant nous un couple, oui 2 personnes, occupent l’une de ces tables!!!!! C’est pas parce que Mr et Mme portaient sur eux leur super train de vie!! Noonnnnnn!!!! La table est à la tête du client en plus!!!!!! Et on l’a payé chère la soirée!! Heureusement les serveurs très sympas se sont confondus en excuses et nous ont offerts le café.... maigre consolation pour une soirée gâchée!!!
