COTE D'AZUR BOULANGERIE BELLIARD — Restaurant in Grasse

If you are a foreigner or non-French speaker, you should avoid this place. The staff is always rude and dismissive to you. Out of politeness, I tried to order with my French I learned in school. But we were only answered in an always arrogant manner, punctuated with an annoyed groan or eye roll. At one point, the staff started loudly to slander about us behind the counter with a colleague while gesturing at us. Since the baker was the closest from our accommodation, we gave him a chance three times during our stay. But each time always made us feel stupid and uncomfortable. The food was mediocre at best and you stand in line forever as the staff is largely made up of older people who don't seem to be in a hurry anymore. If they notice that a guest does not speak French or speaks it poorly, his order is delayed on purpose. Clearly not a...

Called in for the tarte tropezienne but the guy in front of me nabbed the last slice - drat! Bought an almond puff pastry instead which was very nice with a cuppa later. Knocking off two stars for the slowest moving queue in Europe. There is one old lady server who takes 10m on average to serve each customer. She is so confused. One guy asked for brioche, she said we don't have any, it was literally on display behind her head. He pointed this out and she finally saw it, picked it up and started cutting a slice - all in painful slow motion. I'm sure she is very nice but I would not recommend her for a customer service role :) Luckily I was served by the younger woman - but the second time I popped in only the grey haired one was serving. After 10m - and not one person served - myself and half the people in the queue gave up waiting and...

Je suis aller dans la boulangerie comme souvent le samedi, mais ce fut une énorme déception ! Je n’y retrouverais plus ! Pourquoi? J’étais dans la queue, la patronne (90ans) de mauvaise humeur comme à son habitude, parle mal au vendeuse, alors qu’elles font tous ce qu’elles peuvent. Elle est descendu 2sec après que la sonnette est sonné, elle n’a pas attendu que les vendeuse finisse avec leur client! La pâtissière est alors monté énervé et à commencer à parler méchamment aux vendeuses alors qu’elles n’avaient rien fait, et à pousser l’autre vendeuse qui essayais tant bien que mal de calmer la situation, reproche aux vendeuse de parler fort alors qu’elle même leur criait dessus!! Aucun respect ! Pauvre vendeuse, partez cet entreprise ne vous mérite pas ! Toujours a l’écoute et souriante malgres l’harcèlement que leur fait subir la patronne ainsi que son fils l’après midi !

Constatation : je vois souvent 1 vendeuse travaillée toute la journée 6j/7j de l’ouverture à la fermeture. Il ne trouve pas de personnel où tout le part vue leurs comportements, entreprise qui devrais fermé!

Malgres tous ça les plats sont bon, et les pâtisseries aussi, mais je ne veux plus encourager...
