Worst restaurant experience ever – do NOT go here!

This place was a complete disaster from start to finish. We came in with decent expectations, but the restaurant failed on every single level.

Let’s start with the staff: incredibly rude and completely disinterested. We had to wait 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, and the place wasn’t even busy. No greeting, no smile, just attitude. It felt like we were bothering them by just being there.

Now the food… absolutely awful. We ordered parmesan fries for €9 – and what we got was a tiny portion that looked like it was thrown into the fryer for literally one minute. Soggy, bland, and just pathetic. Total rip-off.

My pizza was even worse: dry, tasteless, with a ridiculous amount of cheese and tomato sauce. It was like someone poured canned tomato paste over cardboard. We were also given bread that was rock-hard – honestly felt like it had been sitting out for a year.

My colleague ordered the salmon, and it was completely inedible. Overcooked, smelled off, and tasted just as bad.

Since my pizza was disgusting, I didn’t finish it. A waiter then came over, sighed loudly, and said: “You’re not going to eat that?” – absolutely unacceptable and disgusting behavior towards paying customers.

And the bill? €80 for one salmon dish, one pizza, one portion of fries, and four drinks. Outrageous. And when we wanted to pay, it took another 20 minutes before anyone bothered to come over.

Summary: terrible service, terrible food, ridiculously overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Massive...

I actually came for moules frites, but the server recommended the large grilled sea bass for two special, which I love, so we had that.

It was actually delicious, but we were not told the price, and it came out to 120 Euros. Granted, there were four side dishes including salad, fries, mashed potato, and ratatouille, which were all okay or good. But I think it would have been better to be told the price first.

The ambiance and location of the restaurant are amazing. I did notice most of the other patrons were just having drinks, so maybe it’s better for sitting and enjoying the atmosphere.

The service was okay. The food took some time to arrive, but that was expected with a large grilled fish. The server did not seem that skilled in deboning and cutting the fish though, so I felt a bit awkward sitting and waiting for it. They also took photos of the fish before serving it. When we finished, it was difficult to get the cheque. We had to ask more than one server and waited a while even though the restaurant did not seem crowded at all.

Worst dining experience of our entire French Riviera holiday. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The only thing that was good was the atmosphere. Ordered a hamburger and received a fish platter with frozen cold calamari. Margherita pizza was cold to the touch, they brought it back and it was warmer but cheese wasn’t even melted. Hamburger was ordered medium well and received rare so not eaten. The ravioli was the worst looking dish I’ve ever seen. It was frozen ravioli and entirely inedible. Complained about it and was told “everyone else loves it, no one else has complained”. The manager even came over and was arguing with me! I couldn’t believe it. We are also in the hospitality industry and own a restaurant. I would never think to argue with a guest who wasn’t satisfied with their meal. Completely unprofessional and I would say RUN don’t walk away from this restaurant! The only thing good was that they took off the ravioli dish and the seafood platter we didn’t order from the bill so in that regard I appreciate it but please change your attitude towards unsatisfied guests or your restaurant...
