What a great place! Before hopping in the queue at the Lovre, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We set out to see what we would stumble upon. We found this perfect little cafe located right across the street. The Arty cafe was the perfect place for us since my wife loves fresh crepes, and they make them right in front of you. We walked inside, and we were warmly greeted by the hostess, who was also our server. Teresina was such a wonderful young lady who spoke perfect English. I told her I would like to order the very American cheese burger and fries. She chuckled. I then ordered a coke zero with an extra glass of ice, to which she quipped...."also very american," to which we all laughed. When she brought the food, she had placed little American flags in the bread, and this was a nice touch to recognize us. While eating, their fresh vegetables order was delivered to the front. Box by box, they hand carried them downstairs to the kitchen. It was good to see so many fresh ingredients being brought into the establishment. As we finished, we decided to visit the toilet before leaving. The restroom facilities were very clean and kept very nice. We were thankful for that. My wife enjoyed her crepe as I enjoyed my burger and piping hot French fries. This was a great place to eat before a long day at the museum. A huge thanks to Teresina for making our visit special. We have zero complaints and loved our visit. To Team Arty: I read reviews from patrons at each place we visit. I love how you take the time to respond to each review. However, I will say that when I read your response to the "1 star" reviews, you act like a petulant child. It's almost comical and sad to read your responses. I'm not sure if it is a French thing to respond the way you do, but sadly, at a minimum, it is very unprofessional. You have a great restaurant. Instead of constantly degrading the person and alway trying to defend yourself, you should just thank them for their response and move on. Learn from their review if it will make your operation better, and ignore the rest. And quite possibly, maybe you need to treat people better, and they might not write a bad review. You will never be able to make everyone happy. I wish you continued success, and we hope to visit you again soon. Thank you for treating us so well.

Edited- Staff screamed at us for using the toilet. We were planning on ordering and were looking at the food but didn’t make a choice yet. While we were picking our food and still deciding, our friend used the restroom. According to the staff, we should have asked first before using the toilet…. Another staff member joined the angry staff member to emphasize how wrong we were. It was truly embarassing and very rude. See screenshot for tone of voice that was also used in the situation itself. FYI - one friend used the toilet while the rest was checking out the food. Comment from owner says we ran away. This is not true. We were very willing to buy something as we used the toilet, that makes sense, especially in big cities like Paris. However, the owner kept screaming at us, making us very uncomfortable and unsafe to be honest. Obviously we were unwilling to buy afterwards. So indeed we left after the “conversation” we had with him. There was no reasoning with him.

My wife and I found this place after exiting the Louvre what a cool spot Ricardo totally put out the welcome mat for us and the owner recommended a bottle of wine which we purchased on the table got a couple of meals and after chatting it up a bit. Ricardo started pouring shots, as we did shots a couple of rounds these guys are definitely a place to stop. We will stop in again for sure. To top it all off it was for our wedding anniversary 23 years. Incredible really made us feel special and feel the need to want to come back which we will. I have attached one more video as a celebrated with us.

"Laughably bad" We wanted take a break and have a drink here. When I stood up to go to the toilet, someone behind the bar shouted at me why I was going to the toilet. I pointed to the table we were sitting at, he knotted and turned his back. While I was gone, the waitress dropped a plate on the floor. Food and sauce was all over the floor and my girlfriends coat. The waitress cleaned her hands and some of the food on the floor but didn't even look at my girlfriend. No apologies or even a paper towel. My girlfriend went to the toilet to clean her coat with toiletpaper. After waiting for at least 15 minutes, the waitress came to take our order. When we ordered our drinks, she started to give us an explanation in Spanish. She didn't understand any French or English. She pointed to a sentence in the menu which stated that they only take clients who order food. When I told her we already ate, she got angry so we left. I completely understand why a small restaurant would enforce this policy and I understand it is not easy to work with tourists everyday. But they could've easily treated us a lot better. (Small tip: don't call your place 'Cafe' and be surprised that people want to come in to...

I visited this crêpe café twice, and I must warn potential customers about the experience and the owner's appalling attitude.

During my first visit, I was overcharged €1.50. I thought it might be a mistake, but when I returned the next day, I faced another overcharge of €0.30. When I pointed this out, the Spanish female server was dismissive and insisted everything was correct. It took me pulling out my phone calculator to prove the error before she acknowledged it and she brought me the correct change and said Desolee.

After sharing my experience in a review, the owner responded not with an apology, but with a defensive, confrontational remark as you can read below. He called my review dishonest, which is not just inaccurate but utterly ridiculous. Rather than addressing the clear issue of overcharging, he chose to attack a customer's credibility because he’s embarrassed and ashamed.

This behavior is unacceptable. If you dine here, be sure to meticulously check your change, as they seem to prey on unsuspecting tourists. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to stay away from this establishment that prioritizes profits over honest service under the guise of...
