Bulpan — Restaurant in Paris

Highly rated on Google but left slightly hungry and disappointed.

3 of us ordered fried chicken, spicy seafood noodles and black bean noodles as our main dish each.

The prices are higher than average. Since 15e arrondissement is known to have many Korean restaurants around, I definitely have a higher expectation if I were to pay a slightly higher price tag. Example, their soup/stew was priced at 20€ to 24€ when you could easily get it at 18€ elsewhere (at a bigger portion).

The food was not served together - which resulted in us having to wait for our friend to receive his dish before we could start eating together.

The pancake as an entree was so small, thin, soft and soggy. Completely does not worth the price at all.

The seafood noodles was nice, with lots of seafood and vegetables. I do agree with the other reviews that this is definitely one of the best dishes.

As for the chicken, it’s 10 pieces of small mid wings or drumlets. It’s not value for money at all.

Overall, while one of us enjoyed the seafood noodles, the bill/experience left us with disappointment as 2 out of the 3 guests were still hungry after the meal. Sorry, but I will prefer to explore the other restaurants in the vicinity.

just writing for the BBQ experience which i wanted to have in Paris. walking along the streets i saw a lot of korean restorans. when i was traveling inasian had the experience of the korean bbq. wanted to show for my friend what the Korean BBQ is like. was looking around and the Google reviews showed good rezult i thought the ir would be good place to experience. the place is not big. the menu was in french and korean, good thing my friend knows french. you could choose the bbq with beef or chicken. the garnish was 10gram of kimchi, sea grass ant same lotus flower marinated and some rice with salat. meat was like steak. the meat was good bet the garnish was rice with salat. when you trying remeber what you had in other places and here the BBQ experience was not the best, so if you want to experience the Korean BBQ...

Our curiosity made us come back here after one day strolling around the Kmart area and spot a hidden Korean restaurant seems to be run by Korean ajumma 😊 the inside of the restaurant was much more spacious than the impression it gave from the outside. A bit pricey but we loved the both dishes we tried jajangmyeon and jjamppong. We’ve never been to South Korea and only ate instant black soybean noodle before, so this was a real upscale jajangmyeon experience, their fresh noodle was so yummy, al dente like a good pasta! The seafood soup bowl was huge, good to share for 2 people. The only slight disappointment was that we were expecting more banchan (small sides often served in a Korean meal).
