We were recommended this place by another restaurant. It was late for dinner, by our time, 8:30. But this little gem was cozy, had a pleasant atmosphere:people seemed to know each other and lots of good natured greetings. Also had a decent menu. The fellow who looked after us, Charles, gave recommendations. We had a marvelous beef bourginon and my nephew tried escargot with fries. Well seasoned, tasty morsels....not the over salted pea sized things I had at home before we left. The macaron dessert was a good portion to finish off everything. Read moreEven though I am not Parisian I have been here multiple times on different trips to Paris. It has locational advantage for tourist because it's just few steps away from Lafayette! Cannot say the food is the greatest, but it's great to have a bite into chicken or burger or a break with a wine thoughtlessly watching diverse Parisians walking by. I have great memories here, cannot say all can have great memories as I have, but can be a great stop after or in between shopping or killing time before the bus ride back to the airport. Read moreFood: was awful as for the price segment in this area. Salmon with no flavour or at least a lemon. “ratatouille” is basically sliced vegetables, that doesn’t even combine well. Onion soup was the worst Ive seen in Paris so far and the appearance was not the main problem, the taste is just unflavoured.. Beef had a lot of fat.
