I highly recommend this café to anyone interested in exquisite pastries and freshly made drinks. After a decent amount of hours walking around at the museum, this is definitely the perfect café location to relax and enjoy a delicious treat. I had previously been to this location on my very first visit to Paris in September of 2023, and the experience was exceptional. Due to the pleasant experience that I had, I decided to go once again recently, in November of 2024 with my friend, and the experience was even more delightful than the first.
We walked in on a late Friday evening and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very tranquil, quiet, and not too busy. The kindness and thoughtful gestures of the staff made us feel so special, especially the waiter, Yacine, who treated us so kindly and courteously. He checked up on us frequently and assured we had everything to desire. I was originally interested in having a lemon-flavored sparkling Sanpellegrino water, and although it wasn’t on the menu, Yacine politely went ahead and checked if they had it in stock before saying no. Since it wasn’t available, I decided to order a raspberry lemonade instead, which was exquisitely refreshing. Additionally, I requested it without sugar, and there was no issue ordering it to my liking. Most locations that offer such drinks won’t accommodate that request since they are already premade, but Yacine did, without hesitation, and I was so surprised. It was the best raspberry lemonade I’ve ever had in my life. I also ordered the Ferrero Rocher Cake because on the previous occasion in which I went to this café, it was what captivated my heart to come back once again, and it was just the most decadent chocolate delicacy. Yacine also made a thoughtful gesture of including 2 macaroons to try, and they were also so exquisite and soothing to my heart because they were the softest macaroons I had tried in awhile. It was very sweet and generous of him. I was celebrating my birthday, and he and the staff treated me to another delicious pastry, which included some beautiful sparkles and a very enthusiastic birthday melody from the staff. The birthday strawberry pastry was so divine because it was light and creamy and not too sweet or overpowering. I could immediately taste the strawberries and the flavorful, fluffy cake and cream as soon as I took that first delicious bite. What ignited me to take another bite after another was how it melted away in my mouth in the most pleasurable way. My friend also ordered a blue latte drink that she loved and a pistachio French toast, which was extremely big but very enjoyable. Yacine had mentioned that it was a relatively large portion, and I would definitely say it is a decent size for even two individuals. Surprisingly, we were extremely satisfied and weren’t able to finish everything we had ordered, and we requested him to pack it for us, and he packed everything up in the most delicate way. It looked like a professionally wrapped-up gift bag. I eagerly await the day I can go back to Paris again just to indulge in these delicious pastries and feel treated like I did during this past visit.
I have also been to one of the Caffè Concerto locations in London, the one on Northumberland Avenue, and I was expecting a similar experience; however, the difference in the quality of pastries is significantly noticeable. This location at the Louvre offers more options and feels unique, especially with its beautiful pastry displays relating to the museum and the iconic Mona Lisa. Nowhere else will there be a location like this just seconds away after visiting some of the most beauteous handmade masterpieces of the world at the Louvre. It’s definitely exclusivity at its finest. The decor is also remarkably stunning and elegant with mirrors, velvet seating, and floral arrangements.
I can’t compare any other location to this one. The cuisine was delicious, and the experience unforgettable.
Overall, I’d give this location my very top rating.

Reservation & Arrival: We visited Caffe Concerto Paris after finishing our tour of the Louvre. Finding a table was easy, and the initial greeting was friendly and professional. Seating was comfortable and well-spaced, offering a good view of the surroundings and a pleasant atmosphere to begin with.
Ambience & Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean, bright, and beautifully maintained. The lighting and temperature were pleasant, and the interior design matched the elegant café theme well — stylish and refined, making it a charming place to sit and relax after sightseeing.
Service Quality: Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Staff were inattentive, forgetful, and disorganized. We had to repeat our orders multiple times, and several mistakes occurred before the correct dishes arrived. The service was extremely slow, with long gaps between courses, as if the staff were completely overwhelmed or distracted. There was no sense of coordination, and they seemed indifferent to guests’ time or experience.
Food Presentation & Taste: The food itself was average overall. • The grilled chicken was decent but not remarkable. • The two pasta dishes were also average, lacking any memorable flavor or refinement. • The desserts, however, stood out — the Paris-Brest was excellent, and the macarons were good, offering a satisfying end to an otherwise frustrating meal. Presentation across all dishes was elegant and polished, even if taste did not match appearance.
Beverage Experience: The beverage menu was varied enough, and the drinks themselves were fine. However, water and refreshments were served late, and even something as simple as an extra Coke took over 15 minutes to arrive — only after reminding three different waiters. This inconsistency in service made the experience far less enjoyable.
Value & Price: While the food and ambience justified the pricing, the service completely ruined the experience. There were no billing errors, but given the delays and poor attentiveness, the visit was not worth the cost.
Overall: Caffe Concerto Paris offers a beautiful setting with good desserts, but the service is extremely poor, making it impossible to recommend. Despite the appealing location and nice presentation, the experience was stressful and disappointing due to slow, careless...
Read moreTerrible experience with manager. Ordered the appetizer tower with rosemary garlic cheese flatbread and instead, received toast French bread instead. Brought to the waiters attention immediately who was surprised but went to have it replaced or removed. However, manager fought him and other waiters loudly in the cafe saying it was the right item even though it clearly was not. Eventually, the waiters gave up with the manager after 10 minutes of arguing. Then, the manager argued with my family that it’s the same thing and that they ran out of the flatbread. Then argued that the picture was wrong but the writing said just bread so we should accept it. Wouldn’t take the order back, wouldn’t take off check, wouldn’t reduce the check. Then argued that it’s only worth a $1 when we didn’t eat it. We said we would only pay for what we received, and she wouldn’t budge making a big scene. Eventually, we had security intervene and it was clear this has happened multiple times. They sided with us and made her reduce the check. She did so reluctantly and said “are you happy now?” Obviously we aren’t, we wasted a bunch of time, made a scene, a bunch of customers left and waiters apologized for the managers actions on the side. See pictures and see for yourself.
