We tried to eat at this restaurant on July 10, 23 around 3pm, but the waiter was so RUDE👎🏼👉🏻👇🏼 The waiter was so rude, we were hungry and we didn’t even care where the waiter sat us. He took us all the way in the back in a small room, but the problem was not that he just threw the menus on the table and he didn’t even ask anything else, since we were hungry we wanted to eat fast, then, my husband called him and my husband asked for water and what kind of salads they have. The answer was rough saying, “salads are salads.” And he putted the water rudely over the table when he did that some water came out of the glass and I told him to be nice because I got wet, my husband got up really upset because the waiter (Middle East man) was so rude, so my husband asked for the manager. We spoke with a man early 30s and we told him how the waiter was treating us, really bad service. The manager or the owner was surprise with our story and he didn’t even say anything, the owner called the waiter and asked what happed, we repeated our story in front of the waiter again. He denied everything that it wasn’t the way we said just that he was busy, when we saw that the owner didn’t support us, then, we left. Crossing the street in the other corner was another restaurant, exactly to the next corner from this disgusting restaurant. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT “Café de la Comédie”….👇🏼 CROSSING THE STREET THERE IS ANOTHER RESTAURANT BETER THAT THIS ONE. There we saw the difference more elegante, peace and better service. We ate better, they...
Read moreThe location and look of the restaurant was promising, however the service and behaviour of staff was the worst we experienced in Paris. Our waiter, the bald man, was rude and abrupt and unwelcoming, shoving things on the table around then dropping menus and leaving. He assumed we didn't speak French and served us in English, which was fine until we had a complaint and he said he didn't speak any English - despite the restaurant advertising it was English friendly. When we translated in French, he rejected the complaint and said it was our fault he couldn't do anything about it, despite the fact we spoke up when he brought us the wrong meal.
He got our order wrong and when we asked for the dish we ordered he said they were out, offered no alternatives or options and waited beside us waving the wrong dish in front of our faces in expectation. He also failed to check in on our meal after checking on everyone else. There was nothing pleasant or welcoming, or professional, about his service.
Unfortunately this was not the only unprofessional conduct we witnessed. The bartender poured drinks straight from the commercial bottle, the coffee froth was dumped in the cups and shaken to settle it, and worst of all he continually blew his nose during our visit and kept checking his tissue for what came out each time. We never saw him wash his hands or disinfect them once while doing this and serving people.
The waiter who served us here was despicable and his customer service appalling. The restaurant overall was also a complete...
Read moreIncredibly expensive and yet also terrible quality food and service. Worst coffee I've had pretty much anywhere in the world, and it was €7!!. The onion soup was bland, the omelette was burned. We were seated in the corner and I could barely fit in the seat there was so little room, and I'm not particularly tall. The service? Wow. Couldn't have been much worse. The waitress was OK when we arrived but took forever to take our order, we kept signalling we were ready and she kept ignoring us. When our friend arrived at first she didn't even want to let him in at all. As he said he just wanted to join us for a quick coffee and not eat. After pleading for a few minutes she begrudgingly let him sit down but said if any one wanted food she would need him to leave. We even if offered to order more food just so she would leave us alone but for some reason this wasn't good enough. So we cancelled the coffee and asked for the bill...which she brought back...with the cancelled coffees!!! This is obviously just a tourist trap. I know it's near to the Louvre so bound to be expensive but you do expect a restaurant in the centre of Paris to be able to serve a decent bowl of onion soup and an omelette. A first year catering student in UK can cook a decent omelette why can't an actual French chef in...
