I was really excited to try Chez pitou due to the reviews on Google. We’ve book a table and luckily got a table outside. The outside table and chairs were not so nice for the ambience.

We really wanted to try their 1-1,2kg steak (La Côte de Boeuf) which they sell for 100€ for 2 people. We also got the grilled Poulpe. We wanted to share all dishes (3 persons). The waiter said the steak is a really big piece and that we need to be really hungry to eat it. So we thought it will be too big for us and said maybe they give us the smaller piece. So 1kg instead of 1,2kg. But we were disappointed when we saw the plates. Only 4 slices of steak on each plate. I was quite shocked since we love steak and have eaten at many restaurants where 600gr for example was enough for 3. Also the poulpe was smaller than our neighbors table. Maybe the waiter thought we can not eat that much but we were still really hungry afterwards. We left disappointed and still hungry even when the steak was good.. also we needed to ask for bread since it took longer for our food to be ready. Did not get butter or olive oil and salt & pepper with it. Disappointed, so not...

I’ve had the pleasure of having an intimate dinner at this marvelous, picturesque, true Parisian restaurant. The vibe was warm cozy and

Pitou the owner, was in the restaurant and took great care of us, making us feel so welcome and right at home. I loved his skills as a sommelier. His storytelling took us to all the finest vineyards where the wines of the evening were from. The wines paired with our dishes perfectly. It was a joy to listen to him and taste the true Parisian cuisine that has been passed down from his native Parisian family.

And that is just what Chez Pitou wishes to preserve. The heart of the restaurant is his family's history in gastronomies. By hiring and investing in the staff, not letting go of Parisian and family values pays off in all that Pitou restaurant stands for.

The balance between the fine dining, the tastful wine, the service, and the privacy to have an amazing night with good friends was perfect. New favorite memories were made that night!

Thank you, Pitou and staff!

I will be coming back soon, and I hope that a lot of others will find their way to this gem in the...

I want to start this review by saying the waiting staff were very friendly and understanding. The atmosphere was nice and the location was fantastic.

We arrived and ordered drinks. 45 minutes later our food order was taken, however we were informed that the chef wasn’t at work and therefore items were missing from the menu. For example, lamb replaced the beef.

All four of us ordered the lamb and all four dishes arrived cold and with raw vegetables. The cuts of meat varied massively across the table. The food wasn’t edible and so we sent the dishes back, paid for our wine and politely left. As this was happening, another table commented “you made the right decision”.

Such a shame as I feel as though this restaurant would be fantastic if the chef was there and they were able to deliver their menu to its full potential. The waiting staff were very friendly and understanding. I felt they were also frustrated at the situation with the menu and chef.

The...

Chez Pitou perfectly aligns with and exceeds all expectations of taste, atmosphere, and overall experience. We had the chance to converse with Pitou, the owner, and his colleague, gaining insights into their unique establishment. They have expertly crafted a quintessential French restaurant that's cozy, tasty, and friendly - an incredible all-in-one package. The host's warm reception and the excellent service amplified our experience. The food? It's simply extraordinary. Each dish we savored was full of layered flavors, proving to be a gastronomic delight. The chef added a twist by incorporating touches of Korean cuisine into traditional French dishes, creating a delightful fusion. The cod was cooked to perfection and the lamb is among the best I've ever had. As I wrap up this review, my appetite resurfaces, so I'll leave it here. Don't hesitate to visit Chez Pitou. I assure you, it's a place you'll want to revisit!

Where to begin? First, M. Pitou, the proprietor, head waiter and connoisseur-in-chief -- so friendly and passionate about the cuisine he and his chef craft from locally sourced meat, dairy and vegetables. Then the food -- we started with a burrata blended with house-made pesto and the sweetest roasted cherry tomatoes I've ever had. Then on to fish and risotto dishes whose flavors and texture defy description. All served in a small, lovely space and at a reasonable price. Hurry over -- but leave us the table by the window, s'il vous plait.
