This was a genuine last minute, spur-of-the-moment choice.

It was so busy, we expected disappointment. However, a wonderful couple (we assume regulars) who had almost finished their meal gave up their table so we could be seated. Ever grateful to them: they were a lovely couple and seemed to be having a wonderful evening, their generosity was so kind.

We were seated, and made simple requests: "Charcuterie and fromage, s'il vous plait, and wine!"

What followed was the most delicious, delightful plate of both, in the most fun, welcoming place we've been to in Paris. Great music, extremely friendly local clientele, wonderful service which kept the wine flowing just as we needed...

We had the most terrific evening. So incredibly relaxed, we sat for as long as needed to demolish the food and enjoy several glasses, and never felt rushed - in fact, it felt like we could have stayed all evening. The sort of place I'd return to in a heartbeat if I ever come...

I used to live right by this place for a few years, during that time it got renovated and changed hands a couple of times and stayed open just for a little bit, so I did not get a chance to actually eat there ( few times that I tried it seemed to be full as it's very small, but they have 2 floor ), It's a beautiful place tho, the most remarkable thing about it ( one thing that I always remember! ) is a bizarre and interesting kind of metallic sculpture or something that's hanging outside of this building that looks like a bird or a rooster.. I would recommend it specially if you can get in the 2nd floor as I suspect it has a nice view, its window is not toward the town down the hill tho. it's also right in front a really cool bar ( I spent a lot of time there ), making it easier ( :D ) to wait...

This place has a very good local rustic vibe and it’s right across my hotel. Very nice and friendly people. It’s a small cozy place which seems to be run by a group of friends. The serveur was very welcoming and polite, and the cook always checked on me if I liked the food.

I had a beer, a ribeye steak cooked the way I liked, and a I had a French onion soup to go. I got to meet the owner PJ who apparently knows how to speak Filipino. What a great guy! He even offered me a shot of his rum and fruits concoction. I’ll definitely be back here more than once while I...

My wife and I were recommended to visit Le Petit Moulin for a drink when we first arrived in Paris. What was supposed to be a quick glass of wine before dinner turned into a tremendous experience! The entire staff made us feel at home and before we knew it my wife and I had enjoyed 4 hours with everyone who passed through the restaurant. Thank you to PJ and staff for making us feel so comfortable and for the delicious food!
