I recently had the pleasure of dining at L'Abreuvoir and it was a delightful experience. This cozy bistro-style restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with rustic decor and a warm and welcoming ambiance. The menu at L'Abreuvoir features a variety of classic French dishes with a modern twist, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. We each ordered several things, from the tender pork loin to roasted chicken and the delicious ratatouille, which was bursting with flavor. The wine selection at L'Abreuvoir is also impressive, with a great variety of both local and international options to choose from. The overall experience at L'Abreuvoir was fantastic, with impeccable service and attention to detail that truly made us feel like valued guests. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided, making it a great value for money.

As a reluctant American (USA) visiting a foreign country, especially France, the experience was so valuable! We joined the after-work crowd for "happy hour" which of course is universal. The night was dominated by the busy- ness of serving crazed office workers, done for day, by servers crazed by the need to serve! Oh, the wine and beer! Then add an elderly American couple out to experience francophile nirvana: a server's nightmare. We made it easy for the servers, though, by eating and drinking everything they brought, smiling and exclaiming, "merci beaucoup" then paying our bill. While we were there we were treated to a young baby boy with his parents enjoying a brief sojourn to dating again. So sweet. But I digress: the lamb was perfect, the swordfish, generous. Had a wonderful, albeit hectic, evening at L'Abreuvoir!

After a long day of walking at the palace of Versailles, we were hungry and ready to eat. L’Abreuvoir hit the spot! We started off our dining experience with a variety of cheeses and cured meats. Each one in different combinations was incredible and the mixed salad in the middle was also delicious. I also did order probably my favorite espresso I had had in Paris here. As far as our meals went, my wife had the chicken cutlet burger sandwich which was absolutely HUGE. Ton of flavor and the fries were also super crispy. My dish I wish I could remember the name, was a fish dish that was delicious. It had a ton of veggies and gnocchi on the bottom that was cooked to perfection. The fish was soft and had a ton of flavor. I was incredibly impressed overall with this place and would happily go again on my next visit.

If you're visiting from the US and don't speak the language, the staff here speak English. Reasonable wait time for the food and we're seated quickly as we arrived near opening time. My brother and father had the Gus burger, which comes with fries, and it was a good size as well as delicious. The caffe gourmand was also delightful, and it came with pastries. Myself, I got the ribs (Travers de Cochon des Montagnes), and I was absolutely blown away by the flavor. I don't like mushrooms, but the shiitake mushrooms were delicious as well as the rest of the dish. Not only that, it was really filling. It's also within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend it. First time enjoying French cuisine and was thoroughly impressed.

Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, this is a great place to come for lunch. Filled with locals on lunch break from work on a Tuesday afternoon I had to wait a few mins for a table inside. The staff brought me an English menu but I ordered the special of the day: salmon tartar with avacado and mango, and salad with sun-dried tomatoes. It was amazing! The salmon melted in your mouth, the fruit was the perfect ripeness and added a sweetness to the dish that was excellent on the hot summer afternoon. Because I’m gluten free I couldn’t eat the cheesecake that came with the meal and the chief prepared a bowl of fruit salad for me instead. Excellent service. Fantastic food.

The food was great but the space was tight and the service although super friendly was a little slow because of how busy they were and how few service staff they had. Although in saying that, once we did get service the food was pretty quick to come out. I rated the food a 4 because although it was good there was a couple things that could be improved in regards to flavour balance. The salad for instance, I think the goat cheese was served disproportionately that it over powered the taste of anything else. The menu also mentioned that the salad included apple and apricot but I didn't happen to have either of them in my serve but I still enjoyed it regardless.
