This little Italian restaurant is an amazing find! It’s in the Latin Quarter, just off of le Place de la contrescarpe. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and had great ambiance. The owners became friends, I think! I had the prix fixe, which included chooses of a salad, pasta or pizza, and desert. I had a warm goat cheese salad and greens, pasta with a tomato sauce that was a a little piquant, a tarte au pommes, a glass of red wine, a bottle of water, and it was all for 30 euro! It was by far the best value I’ve had in Paris. Also, I never write reviews. Never. But, it was not very busy, and I feel like I need to share this petit endroit avec le monde! 5 stars for sure!

I apologize only one picture, we all dug in so quick! The meals were perfect and the owners (?) were so warm and lovely. The woman brought my nephew a present, delicious wrapped breadsticks. It made him feel really special! The food was SO AFFORDABLE, 12 euros for amazing bolognese and ravioli. Very fresh food and great service. After our meal, the woman brought my nephew a little tray of small candies and an anise lollipop. I would've eaten here multiple times if I had found this earlier. We didn't eat dessert as we were full, but the menu for desserts showed about 30 different treats, a huge selection of gorgeous desserts.

My husband and I were walking around the area when a friendly waitress (Evelyn) approached us with a warm smile. We decided to give the place a try — and it was absolutely worth it. The food was excellent, and without even realizing it, we felt completely comfortable thanks to her kind and attentive service (which we truly appreciated). It’s a pity we discovered this gem on our last day in Paris, but I will definitely recommend your restaurant and look forward to visiting again on my next trip. Well done!👏👏👏

We had the pleasure to dine twice at La Scarpetta on our recent stay in Paris. First was a satisfying soup & pizza lunch accompanied by a friendly visit with madame Evelyn. Her warm and generous character made for a lovely visit. We returned again in search of my husband’s cap which they had recovered & saved. Met her husband, Fernando, and shared many laughs. On our last night in Paris we returned to spend time and share a meal at their restaurant. A delicious salad and pasta was enjoyed. Their place was filled with families, young and old. Wishing them all the best and thankful for...
