After visiting the Louvre, I was delighted to see this location right outside of the exit. It was my first visit to any Laduree and was excited to try their macarons. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and by the time I got to the counter the store had about 3 minutes before closing (I was the last customer). At first I felt rushed by the manager which didn’t allow me to focus on looking at all the selections and make a choice. I expressed my sentiments to the manager and he apologized and offered me a complimentary cookie. I purchased a pack of cookies, 1/2 dozen macarons and an ice cream sandwich. One of the associates also gave me another complimentary macaron. I appreciated their efforts to make up for the rushed service at first. Regarding the taste of everything: the macarons are good, but to be honest, I’ve had better from smaller bakeries. BUT they have the most wonderfully decadent ice cream sandwiches! I had the rose and vanilla sandwich. It was soft to bite into, had a surprising rose essence and tasty vanilla flavor. It also had a frozen raspberry sorbet filling that was a tastier treat within the treat! I would absolutely visit again for another (or 2 or 3 lol). I haven’t tasted the cookies yet but they look pretty promising (cookies and cream dipped in white chocolate). The store itself was very beautiful. Go for the experience and ambiance; be sure to go at least 30 minutes before closing so that you won’t feel rushed and the staff can...

I had a very disappointing experience at this Ladurée location. Two young white male employees, both with blond hair, were standing at the front. They greeted certain customers with smiles and friendly hellos — but not everyone.

When I, an Asian customer, approached, both of them instantly stopped smiling and said nothing. Their attitude became cold and indifferent. Right after me, two white customers walked in, and the staff greeted them warmly, with visible friendliness.

This difference in treatment was hard to ignore. As an Asian visitor, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. It’s deeply upsetting to experience this kind of subtle discrimination at an international luxury brand. Ladurée should train their staff to treat all customers with equal respect — no matter where they’re from or what they look like. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to...

3 STAR UPDATE: Management took the time to write to me after following their complaints procedure to acknowledge our treatment fell short of their standards and will take steps to rectify. Well managed by leaders. Very robust response and action, which is much appreciated.

1 STAR - ORIGINAL POST: Awful service. Grotty attitude from one member of staff.

Two people in front of us were by the counter for 5 mins making a selection and staff didn’t say a word to them, within 30 seconds of my kids doing the same thing, to pick their favour of Macaroons, the staff were telling them to move back.

Of the 20 places we’ve visited in France in the last 5 days, the people have been impeccable, I warrant that everyone has a bad day, but if you’re in the service industry, you don’t act that way needlessly.

Avoid, until better training or apology are...

An Elegant Experience with World Famous Macrons! Ladurée is a must-visit if you’re a fan of French patisserie. The atmosphere is refined and charming—like stepping into a Parisian dream. I tried a selection of their signature macarons, and they were truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The flavors are delicate, not overly sweet, and beautifully balanced (my favorites were pistachio and rose!). The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, happy to guide me through the flavor choices. While it's definitely on the pricier side, you're paying for quality and presentation—and it's worth it for a special treat or gift. The tea and pastries are equally lovely if you have time to sit and enjoy. Highly recommend for dessert lovers or anyone wanting a taste of classic French luxury

Definitely a must try if you're in Paris. You need to go 2 floors below in the Carousel de Louvre mall. There was a fast moving queue and the staff was polite as well as efficient. We tried these flavors: Marie Antoinette, passion fruit, rose, salted caramel, pistachio and roasted vanilla. Rose and Marie Antoinette are our personal favorites and would definitely recommend trying these flavors. The macaroons are melt in your mouth with a burst of amazing flavor. While we got our takeaway in a packet, you can add a box at extra cost (which we felt was a bit expensive!). But we are glad we tried the macaroons and Laduree lives upto the hype! ❤️
