LADURÉE Paris Rivoli — Restaurant in Paris

I visited on Sunday, this was my third time visiting Laduree. I love the macarons, can’t fault them. The only concern I have was the staff who were working. The customer before me was very excited and simply asked the staff if he could purchase a second box (empty box) to take home as a souvenir, the boxes are beautiful, couldn’t blame him for wanting to buy a second one for keepsake. The first staff member working explained that he would have to purchase the macarons to get another box but then proceeded to laugh and tell the second worker about it. They continued to talk about the customer after he left, in quite a negative and rude way. The saleswoman working there Sunday August 18th was particularly rude, haughty and far from showing any respect or consideration for the customer. She chose the flavors as soon as I mentioned the number, then took it personally when I asked if I could choose a few myself—sorry, I don’t like pistachio. The conversation was tense and difficult, as she maintained a particularly arrogant tone. Moreover, Ladurée sells macarons individually but doesn’t allow you to choose the number you want if you wish to have a box—she refused to sell me 10 pieces because they had boxes of 8 or 12. I recommend looking for another store or another “French made”...

Had an absolute wonderful experience here. The two ladies who helped us on July 10th, 2019, were great. My sister and I had wanted specific keychains and were at the Ladurée on the Champs Elysée and they were out of them and weren't exactly nice to us. They didn't tell us about this shop which specifically carries all of them and the two ladies even commented on why the store on the Champs Elysée never tells customers about this little shop. The two lovely ladies treated us great and on our bag they made a cute little rose out of a ribbon and sprayed perfume on the bag. Overall, highly recommend this little shop. Very charming and...
