Wouldn't go back but an interesting experience. We were lucky and didn't have to wait long to get in, only about 30 minutes and we got spots inside at the bar (the waitress did a wonderful job managing people outside and inside while keeping track of everything, maybe put a sign on the door so that groups do not walk in when there is not space) . We bought a drink and before we went down for the music, they made us buy another (even though we still clearly had half left). We also payed for tickets though not expensive (5-10€). Music was good but atmosphere was lacking, no dancing room and crowd was not giving any energy (perhaps go somewhere else if you are looking for a livelier crowd).

The show was amazing! A jazz band who gave a 3 hours of a fantastic show! The place is very small and intimate and its like you are part of the band.. I didn't like however that although you pay for the concert, you are also forced to buy a drink even if you don't want to... i didnt want any alcohol and the soft drinks were ridiculously overpriced.7.5euro for a coca cola..? Aside of that, the experience was great and I was happy to find out they check vaccination certificates at the entrance. Will defenately come back next time Im in Paris.

Interesting place, great music options. Feels strange giving such an interesting place 4*s for atmosphere, however, it gets very crammed, you can end up being very cosy with your neighbour. Expectation to buy at least one drink per set. The good news is the bar tenders are very capable and make great cocktails and mocktails. So it is easier to do so than your standard bar. If you aren't claustrophobic it is worth one of your nights in Paris.

We were with two people waiting at their bar before the live concert began. A 7€ shot of Madeleine was a very nice refreshing. We were welcomed and placed by the waiter at the back at waiting area and got moved to the seats separately the live concert area. The place was quite crowded and we can barely saw the show. When a table left, we tried to move to the empty one, but got told that the table was reserved, we were okay with it until the people who were supposed to be reserved came down and told the waiter “hello, we’re two people” (without the act of reservation). It was fine, we can wait a little more. Until two places we left empty, we asked politely to move there because we were two people and wanted to move there to enjoy the night together. The waiter informed us they went for cigarettes, until we observed the new people were placed at those seats by the same waiter. It was the terrible and uncomfortable night. We were here just to enjoy the show and be patient, unfortunately we don’t feel...

My dad and I came for an extreme day trip to Paris and after a long day we wanted somewhere to go for a drink late at night with a bit of music and stumbled upon this gem.

We were greeted with lovely staff who explained the music area was full and after about 10 minutes she came back and we got to go down into the cave which is an intimate venue but the vibes were immaculate. The band playing that night were the best live music we have ever seen. The staff were friendly and prompt with the drinks.

You have to have a drink each set played and we were not charged an entrance fee. This seemed fair and the experience was well worth a few drinks. Can’t remember the prices to recommend on that but the jazz music was incredibly immersive, an amazing experience I definitely want to have again in my life time. Felt like we truly found a hidden gem and it’s something I will never forget.

Yes the music is loud and if you want to chat then I’d suggest the upstairs bar where you have it as...

Very unfortunate that our second visit here was such a disappointment. The hostess is lovely and inviting, and the cover charge is very reasonable, however we realized where they make their money up, DO NOT ORDER ANY DRINKS OTHER THAN BEER OR WATER! We paid €71 for 4x Vodka sodas! Even though on their menu a vodka shot is €7.00 and a bottle of soda water is €7.50, which we never received the bottle of soda water, it came poured in our glass already. On top of this they first presented us with a bill of €21.50 for 2x Vodka sodas, and then it jumped to €71 for 4. The waitress had a terrible attitude, and I suppose tried to make things better by bringing us a “free” drink, which we did not want and did not drink, as it’s not about that. You ripped us off and I am sure this bar does it to many others. We will never be back, and I hope people reading this take my advice! THERE ARE BETTER PLACES THAT WILL NOT...
