Good ordinary restaurant. Prices as everywhere in the center of Paris are high. Nothing in this place is outstanding. This place is delighted only by inexperienced girls and women who fall into ecstasy from what they eat in the Collett Square in the very center of Paris. It serves dishes in the style of a beer restaurant with very interesting names: "Crispy Monsieur" - steak with fried potatoes, "Moliere" and "Comedian" - salads in honor of the Comedy Frances Theater, located nearby. Throughout the day, the main clientele of the restaurant Le Nemours is businessmen conducting business meetings even at lunch, or tourists exhausted by a tour of the Louvre and who have come to eat ice cream on one of the city’s most beautiful terraces. It was the extensive terrace that became the ideal place for filming - here was where to deploy all the necessary equipment and equipment, as well as accommodate a crew of 200 people. The presence of Angelina Jolie created hysteria, starting at 8:30 am, the excitement reached its climax when it was joined by Brad Pitt. Cafe Le Nemours was repeatedly chosen as a film set: director Jean Becker shot Jean-Pierre Darussin and Daniel Otoy here in the film “Dialogue with my gardener”, and actor Francois Cluzet missed a date here in the movie “Untouchables”. These circumstances attract romantic girls who order a piece of ciabatta or a baguette with cheese and a glass of water for 10 euros. I recommend for a short rest during a break excursion in the center of Paris. As a minus it is possible to designate it the old glass glasses crackled with cracks. Cracks glisten in...
Read moreTo get my point across about how good one of their sandwiches is ... I first came here while on vacation in Paris in 2014 and ever since then, I kept thinking about the same sandwich. When I next came back here many, many years later, it was still on their menu, and I just about died when I saw it there. I had to have it again, and it lived up to the memory of how good it really was. It was the Le Bollywood baguette, and it had chicken, tomato, red onions and a curry mayo and it was pure heaven. The first time I came here I sat outside, but opted for indoors this time to avoid the disgusting smoke outdoors. It's a cute interior and the service was good and friendly and fast and it's very near to Le Louvre and in good walking distance to many other places one might visit whilst in Paris. Each and every time I come back to Paris, I will be sure to stop by Le Nemours, as it's a great little casual spot for yummy breakfasts and lunches and one of...
Read moreFood: 5/5 Excellent. The hot chocolate is absolutely divine. It is thick, creamy, and not overly sweet. Service: 5/5 Excellent. Polite and professional. English-speaking clients are easily helped. Ambience: 5/5 Excellent. Sit outside on the terrace of the Palais-Royal colonnade as you overlook a heavily foot-trafficked square. You can really experience people-watching. Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent. No visible trash or dirt on the terrace. Very respectable. Value: 5/5 Excellent. You can have a hot chocolate for 5€ and a croissant or tartine for 3€. Essentially you can have the Parisian terrace experience in the morning, in the 1st arrondissement for under 10€. Overall: 5/5 Excellent. I cannot fault Le Nemours. After my 3rd visit over 3 months, I can confidently say my excellent experiences are not just good luck. They are a consistently positive combination of food, service, ambience,...
