Le Petit Lux — Restaurant in Paris

Went there to eat with my work colleagues. Everything was delicious! I had the Escalope de Veau Milanaise with Pasta and for dessert, I had the Barbie.

The escalope was amazing, it was cooked perfectly and it was very crispy! The sauce was very nice with the meat and the pasta as well.

The dessert was also very good! I was nervous it would be way to sweet considering it’s title, but it turns out that it’s surprisingly not so sweet! I am not so much of a fan of raspberry based cakes but this one was very nice!

The restaurant also offers a good selection of wines, I tried the rose wine. It was very nice, especially since I personally don’t really like rose wine.

The ambience and atmosphere was very nice as well, the staff were very friendly and very entertaining! They were very social as well, which made the whole thing very enjoyable!

My husband and I wanted to picnic in the nearby Luxembourg Gardens, and wanted to find something to eat along our walk there. We happened to walk past Le Petit Lux and decided to stop in to see what they had to offer- and we're so happy we did! Their takeaway shop is small, but plenty of different food options depending on your appetite. My husband chose a salmon sandwich, and I selected the boeuf au parmesan, which was graciously warmed up for our picnic in the park! They also provided cutlery and napkins. Sadly, we had already purchased our wine and desserts elsewhere, otherwise we would have bought them there as they had a wide assortment of both and at very reasonable prices, just like the food. Really nice staff. I came in one day to kill some time while waiting for a dance class to be over, and the lady behind the bar was really nice, and friendly. She realized I didn’t speak French right away and offered to speak in English. The prices are much better than Cafe Madame a few feet away. And the bakery part next door always has a nice woman working behind the counter. I would highly recommend and will continue to visit whenever I need to kill time...
